If you do Allie path without V involved, you as a player don't get to know this though. It is a very important information that shows he still has feelings for her but again, without being on V's path too.. you just don't know because the game doesn't bother telling you this on solo Allison playthough.
I honestly don't remember, maybe we did have this discussion. I still think that the MC isn't dumb and unaware, I would say that it is the opposite. There is so many hints from Allison from the interactions they had that directly tell she doesn't hate him anymore.
If a woman that I believe hates my guts cooks for me and kisses me, then I question whether she really does still hate me the very next day. They hug, hold hands.. sleep in one bed..all these interaction scream that she doesn't hate him anymore yet he still thinks she does.
I was just trying to explain how some people can think she is not LI, that is all. If the devs wanna ride the resentment arc for all 3 acts and have them reuinite in epilogue then it is what it is.
It is just shame because her path already started from major disadvantage and it barely moves. I can be boyfriend to V, date Maggie, fuck around with Jammin.. and when it comes to Allison.. its "she hates me I guess, its fine.. Ill find out more later".. just meh which to me, after 3 episodes.. around 12k renders? is just tragic.
I mean he does aknowledge that things are getting better between them and everyone around them does it too. You can literally see Cooper and Wife smirk when they ask how things get along and Jake replies something very broad lol
But its different with him and allie compared to the other LI's, theres a different weight on the whole thing.
There is no dating, getting a girlfriend, getting to know each other over time and always kinda having a possibility to back out for both partners.
Here it is about getting back together in a serious way again, recreating the family.
And yeah Jake is aware that Allison is warming up to him again or rather stopping to try to hate him but the problem was never that she didnt loved him. She divorced him because of what happend despite her love for him.
Even if they had sex or jake would be 100% aware that shes still in love with him, it could still mean that she doesnt forgive him and doesnt take him back. She has to let him in a bit more for him to be able to make a move / have hope, the dinner was the first step as something she did for him rather unrelated to lily.
And out of the story: I think one more reason is that the other LI's still give the player the possibility to fool around, MC is not exclusive with Maggie, Jasmine or Natalya and V has the cuckquean kink which enables the player to kinda fuck around to some degrees.
This wouldnt really be possible, going back to allison and lily immediately equals being exclusive
And any other choices (aka Jake cheating on Allie AGAIN lol) should lead to a bad end at least with the mc's family anway
BUT i agree that it should start to become more serious soon and could have happened during the trip already.
