She was the one doing the domestics according to my playthrough. I haven't played all the routes however, so I don't know the timeline. Can you point me to where this is discussed?
Allison is VP of new product development at Praxium Pharmaceuticals in their Biosimilar department while MC was a respected member of the research section. There's a time difference there, as Allie's role is current whereas MC's was while he was an employee there, so Allie could have been promoted since he left, but she comes across as being higher up than he was in the company (details given if you take Allie to the charity ball).

Seriously? This argument again? Has it been a month already?
The blame for the cheating is 100% MC.
Oh for fuck's sake... here we go again.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::FacePalm:

MC had options and still chose to put his dick in someone else.
No, he didn't have any options then... he does in the present. That cunt only flirted with Jake a few times and they skipped to the fun part. Why would he be stupid enough to fuck Allison's damn co-worker, of all women, if he had so 'many' options like you claim and not simply hook up with some random ho at the club, bar, or fuck knows where else without risking his wife finding out about it and divorcing him like she did ??:WaitWhat::WaitWhat:

you cannot put even 1% on Allie. MC had options and still chose to put his dick in someone else. (If it had been Allie that cheated, or it comes out that she did, then the blame is on her 100%).
Ok, let's do this... let's set our lil feelings aside for a few mins and use cold logic, actual logic, when making statements like this and trying to prove our point.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

My point is this... stop using the cheating part of their divorce as a cheap excuse to blame everything on the MC, bcz nobody cheated on you Allison fans, ffs. This kinda shit is bound to happen every time one of the two persons in a long-term relationship/marriage is attractive, already has or knows they could have options and is unhappy, dissatisfied with their relationship, neglected and misunderstood by their SO. I know it sounds harsh, BUT it's still a real-life fact.

Don't want your partner cheating on you, don't give them reasons to do it. Period. They're your significant other, not your property. Claiming someone shouldn't leave a relationship due to the reasons mentioned above goes into borderline creepy, obsessive, possessive behavior, well, the kinda love that's not healthy for anyone ( ), and simply walking away like a 'mature' adult is supposed to do complicates things a thousandfold when there are personal assets, feelings and children involved. Rant finally over lol.:giggle:(y):coffee:

I think he meant options with regard to what to do - leave, try X, Y, or Z to make things work, etc. It's not about options of who to fuck - he even said "had options and still chose to put his dick in someone else."

My point is this... stop using the cheating part of their divorce as a cheap excuse to blame everything on the MC
I don't think people are doing that. When I read these really repetitive arguments, it's mostly people putting the blame of cheating on the MC. They are saying he is 100% to blame for cheating on Allie, they are not saying that because he cheated he is 100% to blame for their divorce.

Don't want your partner cheating on you, don't give them reasons to do it. Period.
The way I see it, this is the only bit that's up for discussion, because some people see it differently. By saying this, you're suggesting that Allie shares the blame for MC cheating. Maybe you're even suggesting she pushed him to do it. But I say that's wrong. The person cheating is the only one who can cross that line. He is 100% to blame for it. This goes back to Milton's point - he had options in response to the relationship breaking down (what you word as the "reasons to do it"), but he's the one who chose to cheat on his wife instead of taking any of those other options. Allie didn't make him cheat. That's all on him.

If Allie "gave MC reasons to do it", the correct response is for MC to walk away. Then, it's on Allie. But MC didn't walk away, he went and fucked someone else. That's on him. Allie is not responsible for that, and to suggest she is is just a deflection. He could easily have left her and then fucked someone else.

Regarding my view of Allison:

I'm totally on board for redemption and mending the relationship, utilizing the shared daughters peril as a guidance. Really therapeutic and cathartic.

Buuut, in the end, MC has to cheat on her again in favor of young, fresh pussy, thus put Allison in an utter meltdown for getting through the same hell twice without both her and MC having learned anything.

Good candidates to pull this of would be

- Jasmine, though she may become too friendly with Allison. I kind of prefer for Jasmine to homewreck Veronica and not Allison, since the former is that much more jealous, competitive, and insecure about Jasmine, but sadly the recent development of Veronica being fine with MC sleeping around is a serious threat on the possibility to cheat. Quite likely it all ends in haremania.

- Patricia to fully embrace the racing aspect of his life and dump his wife and daughter for silly giddy pussy.

- Tara making a comeback and being exploited in her psychosis to one-up Allison once again. Many possibilities, since she isn't established yet (if she will be at all).

Woah! This is new! Never heard of that theory. Could please be more spesific?
Just that I suspect her ditsy behavior is an act. It's a racing underground where a lot of money is being moved around along with debt collection, disappearances, and whatever other shady shit "Honest Toby" is involved in. It's enough that the FBI would probably be very interested in what's going on. In fact, I find it interesting that there really hasn't been any kind of police involvement so far in this story.

Patricia notably acts... stupid. And she's good at using her body to distract people. And she's notably in close with Honest Toby. She's in a very unsuspecting position within an organized crime ring. So I imagine she could be an FBI agent working undercover.

This would explain it, I never take her to the ball. I might actually do an Allison run just to see what happens now.

WOW... This theory is so cool. I never thought she could be an undercover cop. But hmm thinking about that... She really can be! You're right. No way a hot babe like her could be that dumb :KEK:

Does this also apply to the very many LIs who are being wronged by the various MCs in these renpy porn games? If they feel like the MC isn't giving them what they need, they can just go out and bang someone else?

It might be mentioned elsewhere, but I found that in the script during the charity ball. I couldn't think of appropriate wording to search through the entire script to find something more!

It's a pretty interesting theory

I'm at the beginning of the game...
I'm constantly reading the posts here, trying not to get spoilers.

The thing that surprised me the most was that our ex-wife had so many fans.

She's a pretty beautiful woman, but she seems to get her popularity from her character rather than her looks.

While some find our ex-wife's angry attitudes exaggerated (Because we didn't choose to cheat)

Some say that Jake has no right to cheat on his wife, using his relationship that's losing its excitement as an excuse.

This fight will never end...

The fact that the game can have such deep and long conversations about relationships shows how successful a work it is...

My only request is that you be more careful when explaining the spoiler parts (I would also like to thank those who care)

Find the mistake.

Its too bothersome to dismantle every post in spoiler and nonspoiler sections.
You can avoid spoilers simply by not reading discussions before playing the game. And if you are here to post a question, don't read the wall of texts of other users who would very likely spoil you.
The exception is on a new update. If I see spoiler content while searching the link, I had no chance to avoid the spoilers. In that case it would be thoughful to use spoiler marks for a day or two.
