The problem with these games is that they're over-ambitious. Wildlife makes Rack 2 look like something from a game jam. Make a sex game? Hell no, the people want Mass Effect! Dicks are not coming out unless your sex game has at least 5 of the following: a deep and layered combat system, crafting, an open world the size of Estonia, survival elements, base building, epic sprawling story, 6k resolution, full voice acting, no less than 500 patreon commissions.

Rack 2 was downright practical in terms of unmanageable goals.

How did you came to that conclusion?
In most cases people just want a decent porn game.
Sure I would love a proper RPG with adult themes and sex, but I doubt anything like that is coming out. You have Price for Freedom that is going for something like cRPG when it comes to combat but that's about it.

In most cases it's patreon owners, who want to be in eternal EA to milk their patrons, so scamers like Fek. Then there are those who have big ambitions, that usually turn out to be more than they can bite.

Same issue here. The game on my end runned like dogshit, but tbf I had (and still have) a rather pathetic laptop, tho now I can't even load. If I use my old save data it loads everything just fine but the Loading screen doesn't go away. I can still move and all but I can't see anything.
Nor can I create a new character, as it freezes all functions and the only thing I can do is close the game entirely

I deleted the fek folder in the hopes that i can hard reset, and it worked. but now my character textures are f***ed

Problem with this games that they mostly have no gameplay connected to sex. Unlike, what an irony, Rack 2.
Compare to it, most other games just a player of sex animations. In best case.

So for this reason i have no any believe in Wild Life or Carnal bla-bla-bla(one of these "my expectaions was low, but holly fuck") or even Hunt & Snare. Even last one have mostly resonoble aproach to inclusion of sex into gameplay. But still same picture: creator make some minor content and almost nothing about evolution of gameplay.

I wish i could create game by my self. In my mind it will be some action rpg with good roleplay options that can include, if player want, relationship and sex. And I would never set last options as selling point, in my opinion good game must be interesting to play. With worldbulding, gameplay and characters.

Or not fuck around, and think at least FEW freaking MINUTES about how to make sex gameplay and not some collection of amateur animations!

upd: tried deleting "fek" folder and fully reinstalling the game, nothing happened
upd2: it crashes after some time, i looked in Player.log and there repeated this shit multiple times (a lot)

That reminds me of something I've been following for the lulz. There's this game in """development""" called Carnal Souls that began October of 2015, and the dev has virtually nothing to show for it, and still he's taking money. Every update is about some medical issue with him, a family member, a friend, or whoever that keeps him from getting work done. My favorite post was when he said that the lockdown had prevented him from working. Seriously? You have to stay at home, and thus you can't work on a computer. Patreon-famers dude...

I have never seen someone else mention this game since it was announce back in 2015. Glad I'm not the only one that checks up to see how the """"""""development"""""""" is going lol. Sucked a bit though since I actually thought the original concept was interesting.

I just did a check up on him out of curiosity and it hasn't been updated since June. Also said they wouldn't be doing posts anymore probably. If what he's saying isn't a lie, that is a lot of shitty cards to be dealt, but more than likely I think he's just lying. There's no proof either way though.

Hey folks! Good news!
For a very long time, one of the most-requested features for Rack 2 has been the option to serve as a test subject. This has been the primary focus of the big multiplayer update I've been working on, but it involved two challenges: the networking side, and the teledildonics side.
Most of what I've been focusing on over the pandemic has been the networking stuff, but this month, I took some time to start digging into teledildonics. I grabbed some of the toys you guys recommended in the previous poll, got my feet wet with

, and I'm happy to say that I've got things pretty well under my belt.
In other words: you'll be able to serve as a test subject, complete with teledildonics support, in the next big Rack 2 update. (Which is still not quite ready for testing; don't get too excited just yet.)
To familiarize myself with the API, and to avoid burnout on Rack 2, I put together a little 2D minigame, and you guys get first dibs!

To support this, multiplayer that's not ground-up developed for is an absolute bastard to create. As one person, Fek's definitely overdrawn themselves but they definitely haven't divorced themselves from the project. There's no argument to be made, though, about his communication ability. Truely... Honestly someone should probably reach him to try and help him with the communication aspect of things. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if to a small extent that he actually wasn't lying about having issues in the real world that required his attention more than the game did unfortunately, and couldn't quite work on it during those times. But... I'm still of course skeptical about it all, and if he's even telling the truth. Tho the fact that he legit made a demo for people to mess around with using lovense stuff is... interesting, albeit curious if it ties into what he's made thus far as well.

The dildonics stuff is in relation to the multiplayer implementation for Rack 2, which his patrons are rabid for. You really kinda have to dig around and aaaa it's so easy to just heckin post things on all the outward-facing things linked on your own site D:
He also apparently spent a lot of time doing Flash EOL stuff for his existing Flash games. Like, in the perspective of Rack 2, it makes little sense, but in the perspective of the legacy of works, it makes complete sense to keep what made him popular functional.

Dude made enough money to hire a full time Dev team lmao. He works solo cause it means the game will take longer to finish, Slower = more monthly paychecks, that way he gets all the money. His excuse for why he works alone is bullshit when you remember a random group of players modded almost all the issues/missing features out and made even more money monthly on Patreon then the original was getting.
