I don't know about the dev, but the game is most likely Polarity. He kept promising to finish it. Someday - never.

What a completely pointless threat from Alorth.. saying he will leave but his team is still going to make the renders and animations for him. No wonder the threat didn't bother SirD because it wouldn't even effect him at all.
The only way things will change for either dev is if the sub starts to drop dramatically at SS and Patreon. Money talks, other than that we are in this cycle for for long haul.
I have the feeling that the game was finished a long time ago, and that everything has been ready for publication for months, but...
as long as the money is coming in, there is no need for "changes"

But, but, the new simp a/c's told us the update would be here and threw simpy strops and walls of text at us for pointing out there was no update!
i feel an update would increase revenue. people have probably been leaving his patreon cause of the wait. the longer it takes for an update, the less people there will be for it. Hes most likely losing fans over time, and waiting for a spike in patreon followers before posting. but i have no clue.
This shits been said. And as I've said, this game benefits his other very niche furry games infinitely more than those games help this one. Alorth says all the right fucking things, but he never actually does a single gd thing bc this game makes more than all of his other projects combined atm.
Alorth has done this exact same shit since day 1. He will deflect blame in the same sentence he's accidentally admitting guilt and people will lap it up. Neither of these devs have any credibility. Neither of them can even come close to their target dates and deadlines. It wouldn't be better under Alorth and his team. He can't get his own games out on time with himself and an entire team working on them. So come back in a couple of years once the majority of supporters have given up on them and moved on. At that point, we might have a couple of updates and two devs who actually have motivation to do the fucking work again.

It's about the same as it was a month ago. 801 lemmings dutifully handing over their cash. They're funding SirD's laziness, and I see no reason for them to stop. So it will be the same as before, maybe even worse, an update once a year would be for good luck.

I don't defend SirD, I call you dumba$$es out for attacking one dev while giving the other a pass. Neither of them can get their games out on time.
"Alorth, please save Radiant! I know your own games are even less likely to hit your deadlines, and you have no motivation to actually do it since you can just sit back and rake in the cash, but pleaaase!!!" it's almost as pathetic as his pretending that his pedo furry games made Radiant when Radiant pulls more support in than all of Alorth's personal games, past and present. It's really pathetic how you guys will accept him telling you he's currently holding up development so you can continue to attack SirD. Alorth has been saying for fucking years he would do something... he never has, he never will. At this point, SirD is his fucking meal ticket. And if you had ever actually played Alorth's games, you'd very quickly realize he is one of the worst writers in adult games.
Radiant is is several levels higher than his typical quality of work in all regards. The same is true for SirD. Polarity ain't winning anyone over with the visuals or story. People really need to stop riding Alorth's nuts. If you were actually remotely capable of being critical of both devs, I'd be all for it. Yet this entire thread was 800+ pages of stroking off Alorth and attacking SirD when I found this game. Not one person, not even after 3+ years of Alorth saying the exact same shit, was anyone willing to even question if he ever actually said shit to SirD to begin with. Alorth has no fucking problem blasting SirD behind his back. And its funny how many times SirD has said this is the first time he's heard any of what is being said. It's almost like the dude doesn't have a spine and just runs around pushing off blame to protect his own ass.
