Yeah the thread was closed here by a mod not really sure why, it's still up on other sites, Patreon, and SS and you can still download it here , but it's not updated to latest

iirc I first played this game a few days after chapter 6 released... could anyone please tell me how long it's been since that? I tend to forget how long I've been waiting for this game to update lol

So it started out that there would be 26 scenes per update with the disclaimer that some updates would have less than 26. As far as I can remember, none of the updates had 26.
Another week goes by since SidD said the chapter update status would be the next day after the wallpapers were put out

Yeah, i don't think there ever was one with 26...mostly around 14 i think.

Maybe he is underselling himself, making people think there's a lot of delays, that the update will never arrive, etc. Just for a surprise November release.
Can anyone assist with the patch install? It says to replace the Game folder (in resources/autorun i assume), but when I do that then I am not able to run the game anymore, it results in an an error. I also notice the game folder in the patch doesn't have the same amount of files/folders as the game folder in the original application and is much smaller in size. Am I really supposed to overwrite the entire folder, or should I just be adding the files to it? Anyone else have this issue? (playing on mac btw)

Can't say about Mac specifically but with PC you would just drop the game folder into the main folder so they merge.

Overwrite also if prompted.
To merge folders on a Mac,
use the Finder. Hold the Option key, then drag one folder onto another folder with the same name in a different location. When the dialog box appears, click Merge. The "Merge" option only appears if there are files in the source folder that are not in the destination folder.
