I actually think we might get a new update before the end of the year, his earnings on patreon are under 4k per month now, and every month he just keeps losing subs. So he will be forced to release something soon.

I'm still picking April for update.
Since this game came out he never really lost a lot of supports some here and there but always ended up getting lost one back.

Maybe not the full update, but I could see him spliting the chapter in 2 and releasing the first part before the end of the year.

True, not first time either that he split a update. Last time the 2nd part (~1/3rd of what was missing) took him another half a year or so...

For me the funniest thing is when he tries to use the fact that he does both the writing and the coding for the game as an excuse for the wait time between updates. This is just a regular visual novel, up until now it doesn't even have any crazy branches in the story, most choices just give small changes in the dialogue. The fact that he expects people to believe that it takes him a whole year working full-time, just to write the story and code this game is just crazy.

Well in this case it makes sense, since alorth is the one doing the art and animations. He can't brag about something he didn't do.

Yeah, I could definitely do without the free roam sections though.

Really? I actually like those. For me it's some of the minigames. Most of them are fine, but there are some that are really annoying like the math minigame.

Ik people like to joke but the way the last couple status updates have progressed, a December, maybe even November release seems very plausible 100% No cap fr. Ofc it doesn't excuses the broken promise of 3 more updates this year alone, but it's better than nothing.

I'm not joking on my guessing, if you look at the last two updates one was in March the last one and the one before that was April, so I think it is very possible that we are looking at same times

November release ? Really doubtful, late december maybe, january more likely thought.
