Unless he broke both hands or got severe eye problems that result in extreme headaches when looking at computer screens.
blood clot in the brain or a stroke or something like that can do that would be good reasons. I had issues with an eye once and I couldn't look at my screen with that eye for about 2 weeks, luckily I have 2 eyes, so I closed one and used the other. I know I am a genius...
No illness I've ever had in my life has ever made me not be able to be in front of the PC though, just the eye related one would have if I got it in both, that's it. So it has to be something very serious.

No wait Corona made me bedridden for a day. I slept it off and was back in front of the PC roughly a day later. Things tasting odd for a month or so was the worst.

Everyone has the rigth of complain until certain point, you can not like a game an complain about that regardless if you pay for the game or not and you can complain of certain attitude of the devs if you want, the thing here gets annoying when is the same group of persons who post the same thing over and over. We know that you don't like the game or the devs it was enough with saying that one time you don't have to post the same thing over and over. That's when any complain becomes anoying

'The right?" What are you, Joe Biden? I'll bet you have plenty of pirated stuff at home you've shit on (movies, software, etc), aka you didn't pay for it. Or like you're paying for every game on here that you've discussed (yeah right). And yes, personally I'm at the point where I'm making fun of people still paying for this. And who either believe this guy's excuses (which says a lot) or pretend they don't care because of their ego (which again says a lot). Also I'd be willing to bet at least some of the people going "uh you can't complain if you're not paying" are not paying either. Call it life experience. Also on kemono I've seen posts from guys who were making animations and who when they got sick they paused the billing. Which I doubt this guy will ever do or ever did.

You have indirectly found THE problem : recurring billing.
Three routes : (1) Buymeacoffee--direct pay as you go ; (2) become a monthly subscriber after an update, then stop future payments ; (3) just don't ever pay--there is just too much porn stuff chasing too few $ and I'd bet my net worth there is a higher percentage of scumbag porn creators than "leeches".

First things first. Boycott Patreon for their censorship. Completely.
Extreme circumstances call for extreme measures.
But please try to direct your displeasure at people outside our community. True, quite a few Devs may have been corrupted by the "easy" money. But scrap recurring billing! Way different environment...

Not sure who pulled your tail, but I'm a pirate on a pirate site. At no point did I claim otherwise, so it seems you're projecting there.

And yet, i still dont complain about the speed of development, because it cost me nothing.

The worst thing i can say is that i didnt get free shit. Oh well.

As to the later part about billing, i dont disagree, but im also not paying, so i dont have a horse in that race.

Complaining about the development time is not really on my plate as a pirate; however, lampooning the Devs, the lame excuses they give to their patrons, and the idiocy of the patrons for continuing to ply them with cash, is fair game in my mind. So I do those things from time to time and have fun with it. :cool:;):ROFLMAO:

Reading through this thread isn't a fun time for anybody. At this point, I doubt Radiant will ever generate enough positivity for this to be a good place to have discussions about the game. Even when updates are released there are people that immediately shit on the devs, and it's hard to completely dismiss their cynicism when the update cycle is so frustrating. I think people would be far more understanding if they:

1. Started releasing updates faster like they keep saying they're going to do

2. Were more transparent with their progress (the current status tracker is a joke)

3. Added some depth to the story so people would have something to speculate about/discuss other than how long the wait for new content is

4. Stopped billing people while unforeseen delays are happening

I highly doubt they care what the people in this thread think about them or their game though. Why fix what isn't broken?

0.5 Has bout half a chapter more worth of content, so you'll be getting a little bit more out of it than 0.4. You'll have to re-download the full 0.5 whenever it drops to get the whole chapter, so might as well play 0.5
