Sure, it could be a "dog ate my homework" problem, but let's be honest I've had some shit happen to me like you wouldn't believe.So Alorth and his sketchy judgement does not just extend to SirD is all I got from that post.
And his first thought is to create another grift game?
I am sure the choices of those countries meant he paid them fairly right?

The weird thing to me is that he calls out SirD but he is still super soft on him. Just have a real talk with him and say, hey you either get your shit together and start working on this or I will leave the project and won't do anymore art for it. In his position I would've left a long time ago and started my own thing with the same characters. SirD clearly has no respect for Alorth, I don't know why Alorth is still putting up with this shit.

Leave the recognizable project with a sizeable following? For what? Risk a new untested project? The guy has to hire from Venezuela and North Korea, people who won't complain if you pay them less than someone in France or the US.

I mean I think that would be better that continuing to ruin your reputation by being associated with a failing project. We can blame SirD all day long but at the end of the day they are a team so if the updates don't come out on time it's on both of them.

There isn't anything against rule 7 unless you download a separate file and it's not available on the OP same as this game

Salty and Sandy shouldn't have been problem it wasn't in past and been on OP since 17-18 and doesn't work with latest updates

Not 100% dead, but it has some health problems.
If I were betting, I'd say the next update will be the last one before it gets abandoned. Maybe Alorth will be able to create something new from the wreckage. The game isn't dead, but I'd say it's dying.
If Alaroth is not able to keep his word and release the update at end of the month than something is seriously wrong with the game development. Which makes the probability of it being abandoned much more likely.
