Day of Release: Wow! Finally it's here! Can't wait to play!
Next Day: Either Great update! Love those hot babes! OR WTF my favorite didn't get banged in exactly the way I envisioned it!
One week later: When will the next update be? I can't wait!
One month later: This is taking too long. The f****ng dev is a milking motherf**cker
Each and every day after that: Post upon post of how the dev is incompetent, milks like a dairy farmer, goofs off, probably in jail maybe he's dead, but he's making me wait so he's a dick anyway. Call him and anyone he works with anything but human, yada yada...

Lather, Rinse, Repeat. And it doesn't matter if it's this thread or any other. Predictable as the time of day.
When we're past 10 months since a release, and looking more probable for a year, you don't get to play the "People who complain are wankers" trope. The ONLY reason that this game is still on watch for me is because it used to be good, I have 35 other games I follow, (which update more often than Radiant) and I really like the art style.
But if we don't get a believable release date, I can't see any reason to waste hard drive space for it.

People who complain about free stuff are whiners.
Stolen and free are different things. If they actually did it for free, then yeah, that's whining. But they're doing it for subscribers, aren't they?
Isn't this forum for whining anyway? 90% (or even more) of the content is whining, and not just about updates (although a large part of it is). So let's just let people do what they want to do.

I'd suggest going back to those games then. This is a common trend across the entire AVN space. Either your game exists for a quick wank and the story is only there to set up the next sex scene or you're expected to release a robust amount of content where your decisions impact the story.

There are plenty of AI generated kinetic novels popping up all over this website that are on 30-60 day update cycles. That sounds right up your alley. Until someone can sit down with a dev on these actual AVN's, and not easily cranked out kinetic novels, to openly address with them why a 25-40% increase in content is now taking 100% longer to develop, this is going to be the standard.

I pointed out how one simple instance led to potentially weeks of wasted dev time and people on this site were still more interested in placing blame on individual devs. One inexcusable event potentially cost them 3 weeks and both devs talked about it like it wasn't out of the normal. How many other times does that happen in a single dev cycle? Major rewrites are necessary at times and can be excuses in some cases, but shit like that is never excusable.

Sorry, man, but whether it's 10 months, 1 year, 2 years or more or even an abandoned tag or two, all of the meaningless whining would be no less A: Irrelevant B: Baseless or C: Predictable.

If it vents your frustrations, so be it. Live and be well.
If it's important to you to air those frustrations publicly so be it. Live and be well.
But don't lose your composure when people call it out as worthless, which it is. Those who feel that way carry having to read that stuff over and over ad nauseum as one of their frustrations, and they are as entitled to theirs as you are to yours.

It's like opening every post with 'the sun came out this morning!' and then repeating the same thing twenty times a day, day after day, year after year. Aggravates many. Accomplishes nothing. Y'know, the sun came out this morning!

Oh, and by the way, the sun came out this morning!
