My money's on the third world
You think we're made of money? There's a reason gacha games are popular in the third world. It's free to play, does not need a gaming PC to play, and we're broke so we are never tempted to buy bundles. We're not even going to throw money at completed games; incomplete games are non-starters.

No, these are Americans. A specific subset of Americans who will throw money for fuckable pixels.

I find it funny that this guy is saying it's taking a 'little' longer than expected, it should have been out at the end of August.
Dude trying to feint the patreon farm allegation, by releasing it days after the fifth. Now we are supposed to think it's totally normal and not convenient by releasing it five days after his payday. Honestly if the dude was on schedule and honest I wouldn't have mind paying but this industry, if you can call that, is rat infested.

there is no update
You're a smart one, aren't you?
they sure are pumping out those (once a month 4K wallpapers) for their $8k to $10k per month income.
all those suckers are staying onboard lol, where can i find a few hundred suckers that'll pay me month after month for nothing...........

just keep giving those payments & you'll keep getting those free, caugh, caugh, cough really expensive to make 4K wallpapers, they are really expensive to ship over the internet too so, your getting a good deal.
Maybe try watching your own pockets, then you wouldn't need to cry about money

You are grossly misinformed about where the money from gacha games comes from, bud. That's why they give shit away and start with shit that's really cheap. Look where those games are being developed. Look where those at the top of the leaderboards are from. There are literally people from the type of regions you're talking about who play those types of games PROFESSIONALLY because things like in-game currencies, skins, etc have a better exchange rate than their native currency. And it's been that way since the 90s, with games like Ultima Online and EverQuest. Back when I was a kid I had a friend in EQ who sold currency and accounts who was able to buy 3 homes outright in his first year doing it. And that was 2003-04. For a lot of those types of people, spending money in those games is quite literally reinvesting into their business.

In a lot of circles, these discussions have become VERY popular recently due to the Elon Musk gaming situation.

That might be quite literally the dumbest comment I've ever seen. It's literally cost them hundreds of dollars just in the last month. There is no benefit for extending the release for a pay period that ended on Jan 31 and was paid out Feb 5. It's not like they're in a situation like ISP's where you can be billed for two months right away because you signed up a day before their billing cycle ended and they don't prorate shit.

They should put this game in Abandoned since there hasn't been an update in almost a year.
Nope, it doesn't work that way. It takes 18 months without a release, even if the developer shows signs of life, to be considered abandoned, that's the rules. And as if that would change anything - subscribers are satisfied with wallpapers and promises, what do they care about the "Abandoned" tag on some pirate site?

Brother do you know what 3rd world countries are? The dude said 3rd world countries. The largest spenders are obviously mostly Japanese, Chinese and Korean. But American as well. Nobody has the buying power that Americans have. People in US be buying a hot dog from a cart for 10 dollars. In 3rd world countries you'll be sitting in the fanciest of restaurants and have a main course and dessert in that price. You can even search for where most of the money comes from.
