really good game and shit, but damn, someone knows why the development of it is so slow? i mean 5 years and i got only 8 hours of gameplay, ( i did read it all, and im certain that i got all scenes and i did all different choices that i could)

The developers don't intend to ever finish it, that's why.. just look at the money they earn for doing 1 update each year.

Alorth can only create renders once he receives the script or list of renders that need to be made.
SarD is handling that that side of things. Some of the slowness can be accredited to the alternate paths you can take but that only accounts for so much. I remember one of the updates taking almost a full year to even go to their test group.
It only escaped the "Abandoned" tag because patron-exclusive renders (not game content) was being uploaded to their crowdfunding accounts.

I assume sirD has like, an overview for the chapters he hands to alorth, alorth makes whatevers on it, then sirD tweaks every small detail for the next 10 months. jk he probs gives alorth a week to do it all

money should be a fuel or an incentive for better and faster updates, are they scared to finish because they think they will not be able to make another good game? or its just their lazy asses? sad shit right here.

Alorth NOT lazy, Sir Dipshit on the other hand totally different story. Alorth works on other game renders including his own and always delivers as promised, Sir Dumbass gets to it when he FEELS like doing something other than ranting on X or playing with his woody.

I don't remember fully or Maybe im misremembering but didn't Alorth say that if Damned continued his bullshit he would stop working with Damned ?

Or Did he decide to keep working with him knowing they arent going to move forward because of damned and he might as well take the money he can to fund his project ?

Alorth DID threaten to quit the project at one time, But I personally don't know where he stands now.

I highly doubt that things will change with Sir Dumbass, Hopefully Alorth can get him back on track for the writing and coding of the game.(But I'm NOT holding my breath because of Sir Delayed's past track record)

I thought reason why game develop so slow was render making. But if it writing it kinda weird.
Why it take long to write few scenes?)
I think in theory whole gameplot could be finished in week with detailed description of all routes and scenes.
Than just give it all for rendering.
