I wouldn't say it being in last place, and behind lust by more than a little, means it's popular. Just that there's a small (23% according to those roles) group that enjoys it. It's even behind the pure path a bit, which from what I remember is the path with the least sexual content atm.People like dark path, and subs even more i guess, is one of the appeals of this game like it or not.

Some people who play the lust path have probably also played the dark path. Personally, I have saves with both. Others might be embarrassed to take on that role or aren't even on Discord. I truly believe the dark path is more popular than you might think. Theres a lot of public for that stuff.I wouldn't say it being in last place, and behind lust by more than a little, means it's popular. People are tired of vanilla games and want something that gives them the option to do something different. Some people who play the lust path have probably also played the dark path. So you post those roles to try and solidify your position with proof, yet when it's pointed out that according to your own proof 77% of people didn't choose dark it suddenly doesn't mean anything and is flawed data? Why even post it then? Some people who play the lust path have probably also played the dark path. Personally, I have saves with both. Given yourself a roll dose not necessary mean that is the path chosen to play the game with.People like dark path, and subs even more i guess, is one of the appeals of this game like it or not.

A lot of us really like vanilla style games.People are tired of vanilla games and want something that gives them the option to do something different.
Is the source for that your ass or what. Some people who play the lust path have probably also played the dark path. Personally, I have saves with both. Don´t be naive mate.Given yourself a roll dose not necessary mean that is the path chosen to play the game with.
And being that it is the lowest of the 3 option with less than 25%(23.4%) of the vote it is the smallest option and the less chosen path.
Everyone has there own ways to play games and this is all that needs to be said about it.
A lot of use really like vanilla style games.
"People" should be "Some people" to make it correct.
Amen to that.A lot of use really like vanilla style games.
And yet even being the route with the most exclusive content, it's still the least taken role. The carrot is there (exclusive content) but many aren't biting. I think that says a lot about how popular it really is.Lol what i tried to show with the image it's that theres people playing the dark path not just 5 guys like some of you guys said. If you guys don't like that then thats on you. It won't stop the dark path from receiving content.
Like it's the route with the most content (exclusive content) to date.
They need to stop being hypocrites. Almost certain some of those that are here complaining about the Dark path, loved doing something with Nora. No judgment, the option is there, but they need to get off their high horse.Lol what i tried to show with the image it's that theres people playing the dark path not just 5 guys like some of you guys said. Well, there's a certain dev who got banned for doing some really messed up stuff, and if someone writes his nickname, they'll probably get banned too, so I'll just say that one could say he has a black heart, just like his games ;pIf anyone knows of a story as sadistic as this one, where you can break all self-confidence, make the person totally dependent on you, develop several problems with their father and things like that, please tell me.
I've always wanted to play the Joker and Harley Quinn and the evil father. I respect people too much and I could never do something like that with anyone, but dreaming about it is really good lol
I know who he is, look, I think there are certain things he did that go beyond the limits. I don't want torture, just emotional control. lolWell, there's a certain dev who got banned for doing some really messed up stuff, and if someone writes his nickname, they'll probably get banned too, so I'll just say that one could say he has a black heart, just like his games ;p
Think about stories as plants. As an author, first you need to plant a seed (doubt that drives the player to make a theory), water it (small details that could be proof of their suspicions), and then it'll grow. (satisfying storylines, endings, etc).Ayo people I just had the craziest thought.is it...is it possible that our MC is still in a coma like I had heard stories about where people in comas would see dreams but to them the dreams would be feel like it's their actual reality like there never was a coma or anything like it's just their real life yk what I mean......I don't know maybe this is not the case here but man the more I think about the more possible it sounds..... either way it's a fun theory to think about.tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way
lol just fucking stop - Alorth has to pay his team some how, and his furry game ain't paying. He's not leaving, he'll never leave, he needs this game just as much a SirD. Even when he's hiring North Korean artists, they still have to be paid.I mean he didn't really have a choice since alorth said he would leave the team if he missed the deadline.
About the discussion of focusing on multiple characters: I think it's interesting, but you have to be careful. I think a good story is more interesting than hot scenes, there are several girls there that I would simply remove to give more focus to the central ones, even if that means there are fewer hot scenes.
I even like the idea of an increase in frequency. The story starts with zero and the frequency of hot scenes increases.
People I would remove:
I think there is already tension between Brooke and Mira, adding another one (Chelsea) only delays the development of the central node and the development of these girls themselves.
- Natalie
Mother of the boy who suffered the accident with you, she seems kind of useless to the story and creates unnecessary depth. Unless she became a maid or something like that, it doesn't make much sense to me. And even if she did, I think it would generate bigger scenes without much reason.
- Chelsea
Brooke's best friend. She appears there just to be another person you betray Brooke. There may be interesting scenes in the future, but at the rate they're producing them I think it would be more interesting to simply not have her.
- Rachel
Glenn's wife, your FBI neighbor. The story is very boring and is basically so you can have sex earlier in the story, it's kind of silly how it develops too. I found it short, kind of crazy and doesn't fit very well. I would take it out and put more material about the daughters. It takes up 2 to 3 scenes, which could be with one of the central characters.
- Vanessa
The waitress at the first restaurant you take Brooke to, she's clearly someone for you to sleep with because it doesn't make sense to sleep with Brooke yet. I like the scene where she appears, I could keep her, but I wouldn't evolve into scenes of her and forget she exists.
- A Jade
The cashier at any store. Since you don't have sex when you go out with the girls at the lake, the script has her having sex without spoiling the story of one of your daughters and making Brooke jealous, but she's a side girl which doesn't make much sense to me.
There is a scriptwriter's vice that everything that happens has to have some implication on the future of the story, there can't be any loose ends, but life is full of loose ends, how many people have appeared in your life and simply left?
There's the scene where he and his daughter are in the changing room, which I found a bit ridiculous, him closing his eyes...[/spoiler]
Look, I don't think it's enough to say that the script is bad. The script in general is unbalanced, but it's by far one of the most mature stories on the site. We don't have here an easy domination because your penis is magical/made of honey lol, but rather a story where domination is in the construction of emotional dependence, the only true form of real and complete domination, I would say. There is no corruption, what exists is generating a feeling of dependence and validation.lol just fucking stop - Alorth has to pay his team some how, and his furry game ain't paying. EVERY dev on this website needs to learn that you don't need 200 potential LI's. You CAN do 1 off characters who don't require they be heavily integrated into several other potential storylines.
Brooke's a character that was easy for Alorth to migrate into Radiant bc he's already using her model in his furry game. Don't forget the model chick that's been set up for future updates. The musician chick will likely end up being the focus of the update we're all hoping to finally get some real Maddy content in. And, frankly, the Olivia and Brooke sex scenes were both big let downs imo. Visually, they don't hold up compared to any of the prior scenes. The writing is bad in both cases as well. I can definitely see why the last update had to be completely reworked and it was very clearly forced out just to appease people. If that's the standard they're going to maintain going forward, their cash cow is going to dry up really quick.
Hillside kinda proves that just bc you have fewer characters doesn't mean the development will go quickly. That said, when you compare games like that to even something like BaD, it becomes very clear how much easier it is to tell a good, coherent story. I'm sure we can all point to precisely the point in each VN where that one new character just clearly led to the wheels flying off the story and everything just bogs down.
Don't you dare talk about Jade like that...About the discussion of focusing on multiple characters: I think it's interesting, but you have to be careful.
