I believe the last time their Patreon was put under review they said they were told part of the review was because it was linked on this thread. So they asked the mods to remove the link from the OP. It did get added again at some point, but then removed later.

Not trying to defend SirD, but they aren't even making 10k on both platforms combined. Patreon is by far the platform with the most subs and they aren't even earning 5k per month there.
But as far as I know, SirD's only job is to work on the game, so it is still weird that the delays always seem to come from his side, when alorth is the one doing the most time consuming part (art and animations).

They still have a patreon, they just don't advertise it anymore because they want to increase the number of subs on SS in case something happens to their patreon.
It doesn't really seem like that strategy is working. I guess it's hard to make people sub when you only release 1 update per year.

SS is a real shit show in terms of paying for a subscription at the moment. I've tried to pay or resub to a few on there and keep getting payment failures, and I'm not the only one. I have a feeling the payment system companies are pushing to stop allowing payments for "questionable" content. Shame.

So I would expect the next chapter to come out between the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026.
I'm sad because this team has two games, and I think they should focus on one. This game here seemed much better than the other one.
I'm contributing 1 dollar, which is how much I can contribute.
On the contribution website, they gave the following information:
Chapter 8 has 16 essential scenes and 10 more that are not essential. So far, they have done 4 and are doing 2, which is about 25-15% done.
Considering that it took 57 days to do 4 scenes, they are doing 1 scene every 14.25 days.
At this rate, to do 16 scenes, it will take another 171 days. If they are going to do all the planned scenes, it will take 313.5 days.
So, I would say the estimated release date is between September 5, 2025 and January 26, 2026. Since there are delays, I would put an upper limit. I think it will be released by March 2026 at the latest.

I'll consider the optimistic analysis going up to 16 scenes and the pessimistic one, 26.
Considering they started writing and producing Chapter 8 on March 18, 2025,
we can say they produced Chapter 8 on average 198/10 = 19.8 days to produce a scene.

So they must finish producing the 16 scenes in 19.8*16 + 8 on March 18, 2025 = 317 + March 18, 2025 = January 29, 2026
And they must finish producing the 26 scenes in 19.8*26 + 8 on March 18, 2025 = 515 + March 18, 2025 = August 15, 2026

Unfortunately, the update is as follows:
From September 5, 2025, to January 26, 2026 (Considering previous production averages);
To January 29, 2026, to August 15, 2026 (Considering the current pace).

Bro what are you talking about? There are devs releasing updates with the same size of this game's updates, every 4 or 5 months. And he obviously can do it as well because when Alorth threatened him with leaving the team if he missed another deadline, he released an update in 4 months. Alorth himself admited that the reason why they don't release updates more often is because SirD doesn't work on the game most of the time. You can probably find those posts in the thread, I am too lazy to search.

Thx for your numbers but there is nothing impressive about it, on the contrary when compared to other devs.
