Funny you put Desert Stalker there. I will not speak for the games I have not played, but Desert Stalker does contrast with what I consider Radiant's best writing: the protagonists' inner thoughts. The fuckwad I play as in Desert Stalker will never introspect in his entire life as much as the MC of Radiant did when he received the triplets and was hesitating with his advances, justifying his thoughts, and generally doing a pretty good job at staring temptation in the face. I suppose people already play games like the Desert Stalker protagonist mindset of fuck everything with holes, no hesitation, no consent required.
If you actually paid attention to the lore when playing Desert Walker you'd understand that degeneracy is the rule in that post apocalyptic world. What you're asking is for the protagonist in that world to justify drinking water.

I don't play Desert Stalker, tried once and it wasn't for me.
But there's plenty of literature, video games, etc where the protagonist is a beacon of hope in a world of evil/degeneracy/whatever, if the dev decided for the MC to be a trash person isn't because of the world is because the dev wanted him to be that way.
Not saying it's like that on that particular game, didn't play enough of it to know, but talking in general terms.

The protagonist "values" wasn't even my point. Other than your wife and as far as I remember, you can chose who to fuck or not fuck in that game, who to make your slave or not, and so on.

4K Wallpapers - November + December 2025 (NSFW)

Hey everyone! Sorry these are late. The holiday season has caused us some setbacks.

First of all,

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
To make up for November's lateness, I'll be sharing both the NSFW and SFW versions with everyone here + a premium Christmas wallpaper for the month of December.

I also wanted to provide a quick update for Chapter 8. Unfortunately the holidays got in the way of releasing it before the end of the month, but it's almost done and will be coming shortly. I will keep you guys posted, and also announce shortly when you can expect us to begin testing. If you're new here, testing doesn't take us too long... usually a few days to a week tops... so once that starts you can be assured it's just around the corner.

I also wanted to give somewhat of a health update for myself, since I mentioned previously that I was having some rather serious issues, and a few supporters have reached out to me to express concern. First of all, do not worry about me. While I'm not doing the best physically, I will get through it and I'll be okay. I'd rather keep positive vibes going here instead of focusing too much on the negative... let alone offload my own health problems onto you all.
That being said, I appreciate you guys from the bottom of my heart for your concern. I don't really have much in the way of family anymore... so you guys are all I've got!

I also wanted to say a few words about Radiant as we head into the new year...
This project started all the way back in 2019. It has been a long road to get to where we are now, longer than I wanted it to be (I was hoping we'd be exactly halfway done with the story by now, but we came up just short of that)... but something that has never changed (and will never change) is how much I love working on this game, and how much I love the community around it... yes... even the negativity and intense criticism... as what this shows us is just how much people care about, and are invested into seeing this thing out to completion.
For those who may be newish to the community, I started Radiant with one goal in mind:
It wasn't earning money... or making a game that is "popular..."

All I wanted was to create what I personally consider to be "the ultimate harem game." You see, I am a huge fan of harem and AVNs... it's a major passion of mine, but whenever I'd play another game in the genre, something always felt like it was missing or just... felt a little bit "rushed" or off. We'd get resolutions like weddings, some group sex scenes, maybe some quick pregnancies... and then things would just end. We'd get some minor "drama"... but I never felt like that drama truly captured what it would be like to juggle and maintain multiple relationships at once, with girls who have real and believable reactions to finding out that their guy is sleeping around on them (within reason/within what is fun, ofc)!

Enter: Radiant. The entire concept behind this game... is to have a fleshed out, extensive story that follows a guy through several years of his life, several relationships (some more personal than others) and culminates into what is inarguably one of the most fulfilling and grand "harem payoffs" ever achieved in a visual novel... with huge stakes that come in the form of true player choices and agency. And back when I had this idea, before we even released v0.1, I told you guys that it was going to be a big one... that it was going to take us some time to finish... and that I'd never sacrifice quality for the sake of quantity or quick, cheap payoff.

Now here we are, a few years later, and we're getting very close to the "home stretch..." so to speak... the halfway point of that vision.
So with that in mind... what is it that you have to look forward to, as we make our way towards the conclusion? Ahem... well... [1] HUGE DRAMA, the biggest the game has seen so far (though, don't worry! I promise it won't be the annoying kind of drama that feels unsatisfying or that needlessly slows things down. We do "fun drama" only, here!)... [2] HUGE PAYOFF (a ton of sex, let's be honest. Sex with multiple girls at the same time, for instance). [3] Heavy, emotionally fulfilling relationship strides, especially with some of the main girls (hint hint, Maddie, Brooke, Mira). [4] Helping the girls fulfill various personal goals and ambitions... [5] some tying of knots (wink wink)... [6] giving life?! reproduction?! (wink wink) [7] and last, but most certainly not least... one of the most fleshed out and extensive "harem daily life" experiences that has ever occurred in a game like Radiant. No stone will be left unturned, no lewd scenario will be left unexperienced... you will get to experience every single lewd scenario that your mind could possibly imagine. I am not just overpromising here, I plan completely to deliver on this.

It's going to be a hell of a ride, and I can't wait for you all to see what I have in store for you. Radiant is just getting started, and it's going to be worth the wait and the journey, I promise.
Love you guys,
SirD.
I wonder when ever we will get our scene with Allison

When I can afford a proper powerful PC with rendering power, I'm modding her to a game I play. I keep telling myself that. I am bringing her and Liv.

Interestingly, I wasn't referring to your post specifically, I was more targeting the guy who compared SirD to Martin. But any criticism of the great SirD is unacceptable, so you couldn't help yourself...
The funny thing is, I wasn’t referring to you either, yet you couldn’t restrain yourself :KEK:

A proper taboo story requires the slow breakdown of barriers, inching ever closer to the fall. It requires some introspection of each step they took to get there.
DS is not a taboo story in current time setting, it's an adventure game, where sex is abundant, and the MC is not a
foolosopher, but a man.

Despite that it's still above average for avn standards but the bar is quite low with all the slops getting released daily. It's also well carried by the visuals and sex scenes and animations. And maybe by the loli fetish.
To be honest, the AVN standard in the last few years is to start a project, develop for a while and take in some money, then get abandoned. Which.... is right on schedule for Radiant. Personally I think far too many developers are abusing the Patron system of "feeding them while they work, without holding them accountable for milestones and delivery dates". No true employer would do that, nor would any real investor. The Patron model doesn't rely at all on a good work ethic, which is why it's fairly well broken. Only devs with good work ethics stay on track, deliver content mostly within schedule, and finish what they start. I'm not seeing that here.

But that's what I like being explored: hesitations, justifications, anticipation, and honestly the way the MC of Radiant tried to creep logic his way into sounding sane. The way he anticipated the struggles and heavy grief of the triplets, and managed to do a surface level acceptable impression of a caring empathetic father facsimile was the most fun part of this VN for me. Their roadtrip to visit Gracie and process through all their grief all the while trying to hold his creep thoughts in locked me into this game. I wish the game managed to keep it up, but it didn't. Too many characters, too slow an update time which incentivizes sidelining the story to get to the fucking, and that eats into character development and the MC's descent.
It sounds like you expected Desert Stalker to be something that it isn't. Maybe the ridiculous update schedule is confusing you, but regardless of how much introspection and hesitation go on in Radiant MC's head, almost zero time passes before he's fully taking advantage of the triplets. I agree with the points you're making about what good writing looks like in this type of story, but I disagree that Radiant is handling it well.

I'm not sure why Desert Stalker and Radiant are being compared, but I'll agree with others in this thread that DS has the better writing.

Oh, I did not really have expectations. I just played it. I like some girls (notably Nadia, but also Shani and Fairy). I wish I could bring them to a kinder world. I also dislike some girls, notably Zahra and Ainz, and the bandits. It's just a normal AVN. I just came to dislike the MC because he is almost to the point of parody, like the MC from The Headmaster. Neither of them I could take seriously.

Yes? All I said is that it was sadly limited to their road trip and the leadup to it. I explicitly mentioned it could not maintain it.

Not because of content. Does it really count as active if it is a thousand pages of these *gestures around wildly*.

This place needs some Butlerian Jihad. Too many people think LLMs can write decent and not be a repetition of phrases.
No matter how much of the inner dialogue Radiant has and how much tear inducing Hollywood style moments with Gracie it includes, but it still contains a lot of completely cringey plot twists like that one with the bullying cop and his cheating wife, the slutty waitress and the mother of the guy that the MC has accidentally killed. They all jump on the MC's dick without any hesitation.
Also, most of the girls are virgins, even those with the kids. That is hilarious :ROFLMAO: I understand the virginity kink but come on, it should be believable.

I mean, still Radiant is not that bad by AVN standards, but saying that the writing is great is over-exaggeration.

I mean with Brooke situation it does happen in real life so its kinda believeable. Her status is still virgin even tho she already have kid. For me is not hilarious because it can be happen irl. In the end this is porn games afterall, if you want real real life story then this is not for you.
