Is there any new update of this game, or is just the version of the first page? I really want to know because I really liked this game.

Just the version on the first page, for all the reasons I've discussed above. I'll make the time to work on more when my plate is clear.

v2.1 is out:

Changelog:
Rainy DayZ v2.1 - The Facility Overhaul
--- New Content
- 10 new scenes to unlock for The Facility, meaning there are more total than in scenario 1
- The Facility has been redesigned a little to allow for more neat ideas and puzzle-esque elements.
- Also added two more email blurbs, one in the chemical lab hinting at stuff in Spread Island & Scarlet Mansion, the other in the new lobby.

--- Other changes
- You can now save to and load from .noodle files in the game settings menu. Just like with my other games this system was made by Master of Puppets / Wild Bill, thank you!
- New cheat code: Pool Noodle - This will give you a list of the scenes you haven't unlocked yet. NOTE: This will also display the currently unobtainable scenes from spread island I haven't finished yet.

--- Bugfixes & Typos
- The mobile footer was visible on menu scenes where it shouldn't have been.
- Fixed the lack of a right margin on mobile css.
- Fixed a number of typos found by Orange Maestro. Thanks!
- I know the new items lack images. I've been thinking about taking out item images entirely.

I'll have another release with a bunch of spread island for you all next Friday, with this though I've wrapped up all the ideas I have for The Facility.

Lemme know what you think or if you have any more suggestions! My only request is that if you want more rainy you ask for it here, or on my discord or somewhere else appropriate, not in the threads of my other games please. Spread Island overall had the most requests, so if you have any ideas I can still probably work some suggestions in.

I'm stuck at 14/20 in The Faculty. I am unaware on how to unleash the ALpha or crawl through the space? and cannot seem to progress further

I assume you're making it into the innoculation lab?
If you make the rock + dick potion it causes the innoculation to fail, leaving you trapped.
If you haven't relieved yourself you can't make it out the door.

Glad you enjoyed the new content! Coming up with combinations of the chemicals was quite fun. Shattered mind is definitely more bad than the usual bad end, but maybe you'll make your way out of the facility by accident eventually.

Seems that either it had more effect than that or the infected cumming without being inside someone is bad for them.
It's a little of both, the strains usually have some effects that discourage the infected from spending all their time jerking off, but it's different in each scenario as 1: Different strains are being tested / unleashed; 2: Writing the same effect wouldn't be super interesting for me. Other ideas I had were that the infected is incapable of stimulating themselves enough with their hands to cum.

'Brain Cock' is hot, those are some really fat lips! I really like the taking control by blowing them, that's a really hot twist when receiving a blowjob makes someone weak, normally in porn giving a blowjob is a submissive thing. And hypersensitive lips are very nice too.
I agree! I had an idea for something similar back in scenario 1 but dropped the scene for the silly reason that I couldn't come up with a good name. "Kisser" and "Sucker" just didn't click for me, and functionally they overlapped with the idea of the Siren too much.

It's a risky thing to make a strain that allows for a shred of the infected's original personality. They might protect their old loved ones. An infected carrying a vendetta is something I intend to explore in the future though with Scarlet Mansion.

Facefucking the bound infected is hot, it's nice to see some dominant content, there was surprisingly little of it before considering we're playing as an infected in this scenario.
True. Maybe I should commit to a fully dominant route, Typhoid Mary is a good means of writing that.

One thing I wonder is if there is any consequence to fucking the new infected we find. I can't find any differences between when you do it and when you don't, but the bold text is usually a hint that there is.
No, I had considered it having an effect on the alpha's weapon lab scene but couldn't think of anything to warrant an alternative scene.

They might still be attached to their friends from before, but I'd think that would just mean that they wouldn't be quite as rough as usual when they tried to fuck them. And someone they hated or were angry at they would be more rough with, but it would still all be about fucking to them. Zombies have been Flanderized over the past few decades, but Romero's zombies originally weren't completely braindead.

- Spread Island is no longer a demo, and is now a full scenario. It's about halfway done! It has 8 new scenes, be sure to use the cheat code pool noodle if you're stuck. One person in the thread before couldn't get it to work, but I can't replicate the issue. If this happens to you, please let me know!

As a note the typos OrangeMaestro found were actually in this release, I actually tend to post releases on the discord a few days early for testing. One of those issues was a scene was completely missing all it's text! Without those testers my releases would be a lot lower quality, so thank you to anyone who's ever popped in to test something for me.

If you look in the code a bunch of bits and pieces of the rest of spread island are written, but I still have bits (specifically scenes) left to write. I'll be releasing v3 next Friday completing spread island, so feel free to wait until then if you'd rather play it all at once. After that Rainy DayZ will be back on the shelf for a while, but I hope you enjoy! Lemme know what scenario I should do after, or if you have any other ideas. Wild Bill's post above makes me wonder about a scenario with infected who are more intelligent than average.

Hey NoodleJacuzzi,

Thanks for putting together an interesting and unique game!

I've played through a couple of times, and noticed a bit of a difference between the design of the original Rainy DayZ scenario, and the subsequent Facility and Spread Island.

It seems as though the encounters in the first scenario had more complexity than the more recent ones. The decisions the player made in terms of what objects to interact with, what items to take with them, etc. could have real impact on the game play - or not, depending on the route the player chose. Those consequences could also be non-obvious and significantly delayed.

By contrast, the more recent scenarios feels as if a game-over screen is always a click (or two) away. It feels a bit like a mouse running a maze where there's only one path through, and every wrong turn is an immediate dead end. The sense of tension and danger present in the original scenario is (for me) missing from the later ones, because there's no time for it to develop, and the player has no chance to make meaningful (or intentional) mistakes.

Does this ring true to you? Was this is a conscious design decision on your part to reduce complexity in the latter scenarios?
