Honestly, the games in the series rance are overrated. Firstly, the games are very difficult to play without cheats, otherwise you don't get the enjoyment you're supposed to get. Secondly, there's a lot of text. Too much. At the beginning, you can force yourself to read it, but towards the middle, it gets really boring. And that's if the game hooked you in the first place. Thirdly, the erotic content is mostly static images. Given the last 10 years of the industry, that's very weak.

Skill diff. Intelligence diff. Attention diff. If you rubbed your brain cells together for a few seconds, you'd realize that the Rance games, with the exception of X which came out 7 years ago, all came out 10 or more years ago.

The difficulty IS one of the enjoyments, if you can't find it enjoyable is either skill issue or tolerance to frustration.
They're VN's, you get what you signed for. If you only played Rance X, then boy, you picked the longest of the series, estimated gameplay (reading+play) of 200 hrs, compare that to Rance 1 with a measly 5-10 hours gameplay.
Again, that's on your end, either with you plainly don't liking the story or a mix of tolerance to frustration and short span attention. If it didn't hooked you, why tf did you continue? you really thought it was going to suddenly appeal to you towards the end? you're not forced to like things because many likes them.
You're entitled to not like the series, that's okay, variety is the spice of life, that alone doesn't make it overrated, Rance has six of their tittles in the top 100 ranking of erogamescape, that's the japanese version of VNDB, its tropes permeate the industry and there's even references in non-eroge media (Konosuba, Mushoku Tensei). And lastly this:
Rance is a product of its time, and it's staple of Alicesoft the absence of voices and the porn content in static CG's, it obviously is bound to attract less people these days, you're the example, today's audiences need extra stimulation to find something gratifying, because yes, we have a declining span of attention as society in every age group, this is not going to the shitty rant of "old times were better" shit is what it is, and today's people into eroges simply demand more than static images to get off, the new trend is shorter games, easy reading plots, no need to grind for the porn and more interactive media, and that's also okay, there's GREAT games in that line too, if you don't like fine, no need to go the "overrated" route.
TL;DR: You didn't like it, fine, your arguments don't support the overrated claim.
2014 Rance IX: The Helmanian Revolution. 11 years is a huge difference, smart guy. Simple animation couldn't have been done 11 years ago. Even 20 years ago, good animation was done in Flash. So shut the fuck up.

I dont jerk off to souls like games. Game should be fun. And judging by the reviews, most people can't beat it without cheats or long guides. This is reality, without the verbosity.

Name the game dude, your problem is obviously with one game of the series. (since the gameplay varies a lot from one title to another)
I played 2. Sengoku and revolution. And i got all by personal experience and reviews.

You got the STRATEGY game, the one that is bound to do you make an effort to solve it and the other one that would require multiple runs to complete it full and that also has a lot of references and characters from past games, that explains the problems you're referring, I'm really sorry that you didn't enjoyed the games, but then again, that's just like your opinion man, not arguments to determine if something is overrated, let alone 13 games in a series.
Kindly go play some minimum effort linear eroge that feeds you that dopamine rush, porn animations and 3D renders every few clicks while telling you you're the best and are doing great since that seems to be your definition of fun. Life is too short to waste in things you don't like and we're not judging what others jerk off to.
Unless you're more like the type that gets its kicks by shitting on things others like while thinking you're special and enlightened for unmasking how overrated is a series of games after playing 2 of 13 titles, reading some reviews and finding you're not the target, that's fine too, free country and all that jazz.

i think i restarted/replayed from earlier save to pass those damn apostle, until i learned the trick

Good animation is also insanely expensive, and Alicesoft is not exactly a big company. It was considered a huge deal when Age was able to get about a minute or two of professional grade animation added to the most anticipated VN they'd ever produced. This for a market where the majority of games never make back their initial investment. You're expecting way too much out of these games.
You entered the Rance thread. You then called the games overrated because you wanted to look at porn instead of play a game. Instead of conceding that the game is clearly not for you and moving on you chose to inflict yourself on a group of people you already know you don't like.
You then told someone who told you that you don't have to be here to 'fuck off.'
Also, of the 13 reviews available attached to this thread, the only one even mentioning cheats is telling you to use the speed hack in cheat engine. Because waiting for the AI to resolve their turns can be boring. Of the 28 on the Sengoku Rance thread, another is recommending the speed hack and one other person admits to using cheats.
Most people don't resort to cheats and of the three who admit to it, two of them weren't even using cheats, they were using a speed hack for a turn based game. Which confers no advantages.
