I recently played the first four Rance games. The first three were the modern remakes.
While browsing the ALICESOFT wiki, I came across these lines on Leila Grecni: "During this time she was saved from an enemy ambush by Rick and fell in love with him," but I can’t seem to remember it at all.
Was this scene actually shown in the games, or is it something that appeared only in the older version of Rance III and not in the modern remake?

I played 03 and can't for the life of me remember if that happened in that game or not. If it happened in 03 then it was around the time that you fight Fletcher and "free" her. Rick had already joined Rance's party so that fits.

That's the thing, it never happened. I checked that part myself, but I am not sure if it was shown in Rance III (older version) or not.
maybe it could be one of those extra optional conversations you can have at that point in the game? it rings a bell to me but i'm not entirely sure.
Either that or some background info added in the manuals? Probably Rance IV. Actually, I just checked an En version of IV's manual and it says nothing about Leila's crush on Rick. I know for a fact that they wouldn't mention that in VI, Magnum (she never makes an apperance) nor in IX (recently replayed). Which leaves only Sengoku (unlikely, but maybe when she's talking with Rance?) or X (no way for me to check that.
OH now that i think about it... in rance X you CAN go to leazas castle a lot and i remember one of the branching routes there having to do with Leila.. there i remember it being mentioned about Leila's crush on rick and all that.

I’ve only played the first 4 Rance games, so I’m not sure about the later parts. In Rance IV, she already mentions that she likes Rick in one of the scenes, so something must have happened in the earlier games. The Alicesoft wiki says this happened in Rance 03, but it definitely didn’t occur there. The only remaining possibility is that it was mentioned in Rance III (the older version), though I can’t confirm that.
Oh? Interesting. I know you can go there a lot and Leila make a couple of appearances while you are fighting Demons there. Sadly, I can't read jp.
it's not the first time that she expresses that she has a crush on rick but yeah... in the instances where you can go to leazas castle and go where leila is... you do always get reminded that she likes rick and as always brushes off rance for being a horny fuck which is hilarious.

In Kichikuou Rick is really cool, despite Rance's clear attempt to steal her by making up a mission and Leila saying that they have a date he's just like "Leila, if our king needs you, you have to go", and Rance lost all desire to do so.
oh yeah rick's a really cool dude... he legit respects rance in a pure way and dude goes through the most insane mental gymnastics to make sense of whatever rance just says.
i do respect that eventually rance stops chasing after leila because i'm fairly sure that whatever happens between her and him is non canon.
at least that's what i've heard.

From what I gathered its a bunch of events for many of the characters that had less screen time, and it was written by fans, thus not being considered cannon.
