if youre experiencing stuttering and lagging as hell try downloading first this file

open and navigate to ms/86 then copy D3D9.dll to the games directory it should work if you see a watermark on the lower right screen of the game
I had a lot of trouble getting this to run without stuttering frames/low frame rate. Here is what I did to get it to work:
Downloaded DLL from:
Added it to the top level install folder for the game (the one containing RapeLay.exe)
Run the game, see if it works. Repeat steps with different DLL until one works.
Note: You can use any of these DLLs in conjunction with the subtitles addition by renaming the DLL to "d3d9_alt.dll" before adding it to the top level install folder.

Whoah after trying a hundred dll files this one finally worked !! Than you mate, you saved (or doomed) me =)
Worked for me as well.
The old fix stopped working so I just copied the DLL from the dgvoodoo folder into the RL parent folder w/o renaming it, and presto. Seriously thank you everyone for helping, this game is a classic and has some really interesting mechanics.

I play to PlayHome, it is a bit like a new version of this game.If anyone's still into this, dgVoodoo 3.63.1 still works perfectly with this
True. One thing I really wonder about is *why do all the guys in the Rapelay game look like their textures are messed up, in w10. Such thing doesn't occur for the girls.

One thing I would love to get my hands on: the subtitle mod that worked with Rapelay. Has anyone got it?

Glad it worked with the voodoo dll but... Any chance to take that watermark off? =S.

Hello, I'm definitely missing something here...how do you play this game? All i can do is move the camera around in that train station, please advise, thank you.

You have to grope the girl on the train, there should be a command to go to next scene.
Sorry if I'm a little late, but this fix works fine for all the games I've tested except AA1. The framerate issue is fixed in AA1, but, uh, the characters' heads aren't where they should be. Only the 2D effects like eyes and blushes are where they should be, but the head itself is off to the side and it's absolutely petrifying.

look at my post at the bottom of page 7, try that and if your still having the same problem than i dont know. some dll files will fix the frame rate but than cause the issue you mentioned. the link i posted worked for most of the old illusion games ive tried, i posted another link after that, it might work too.
