I found DXVK better than Dgvoodoo2, no frame rate issues with vulkan, this will work on Linux too

Using the (32 bit) files instantly fixed the performance issues i was having..

Hey so When I try to run the game nothing happens. it never loads and never does anything. I have tried several different downloads (though they all seem to be the exact same .ISO file as this one). I have unistalled and reinstalled. I have the D3D9, D3D10core, D3D11, and DXGI .DLL files in the folder. I have tried both the 64 and 32 bit versions. On windows compatibility mode Win XP ser pack 3. nothing seems to help.

I'm using windows 11.

Edit: Discovered the fix. If you have 2+ monitors Hit Win key + p and disconnect all but one. it doesn't like multiple monitors.

Yeeah, but no: too vanila and too much under my control. I'm not really intrested in scrolling through animations.
You see, in canonical AG3 girls can change, gain/lose traits etc. Today illusion?? Make girl aaaand... that's it: no development and no REALLY rough stuff.
Illusion like 20years ago: rape?? RAAAAPE!! TENTACLES!!! UNWANTED PREGNANCY!!!!
Illusion today: is that consensual hand-holding??... erase it to be safe.

upd You can say, that we can force girls in AI shoujou, true. But after such event they just act like nothing happened. No hate , no revenge, no consequences to MC. Just no reaction at all.

I can't get subs working... When I use the d3d9.dll (not the dgvoodoo one), it throws me the 0xc000007b error, somebody did managed to fix it? I already tried to reinstall directx9 and VC++2010 and it still giving the same error. The dgvodoo .dll works fine btw, but I wanted to play the game with subs

EDIT: Finally managed to get the subs working, if you're getting the same error as mine probably some of your system's DLLs are missing even after installing the dependencies.

I'm downloading all Illusion games because of nostalgia, but i wonder if it'd be possible to fix all the translation with Openai GPT.
Because let's be honest, these old machine translations are terrible and don't even make sense most of the time

For those who are trying to play on Win10 and game isn't working.

Use this combo of dll (make copy of original dll and unzip it to main dir).
It should work with English subtitles in Fullscreen ONLY (windowed is bugged, on 16:9 monitors it will be stretched).
You need to open it in YOUR REGION (DON'T use Applocale).
Also check your Registry - you need to set correct folder structure to play this game (error with no config file to open).

It took me 2h to test what dll combination will make it fully work.

EDIT October 05, 2022 about [VIRUS]: There is false positive virus alert by VirusTotal (_alt.dll is flagged by online Malwerbytes).
I tested it with Malwerbytes (premium trial, installed on my PC) and gave no positive raport - files are clean.
Probably it's because antiviruses hates archives with .dll files.
