Well, unfortunately it's not only love path that is unreachable, original post was about avoidance. And MC's lust for his mother is unavoidable. Whatever the player wants, dev just shove it in the face. I can play with different fetishes and kinks or play without them but if dev put my alter ego in Oedipus complex that's his problem not mine. You see, the thing is I never see most of that shit. I crossed only one checkbox at the beginning, I don't go on raping woman at the bench after MC got out of the facility, and I sincerely thought I'll have a choice of what to do and who lust for (it's how good VN is made). And then without any choice and against any logic MC suffers from Oedipus complex. With all the explanation beforehand it'd be understandable if MC gets off on humiliation, on sexual abuse towards women (it's what story tells us, MC look at his father as a role model) but he looks at his sister without any violent tendencies (at the beginning at least) and suffer from Oedipus complex toward his mother. Who looks her age (i.e. old woman at age 40+), not sexually attractive (to be frank, that's true for me), has no distinct personality traits and I see nothing hot about her. Need I remind you the reason for Oedipus complex? It's absense of father figure not just abusive father.

You do get choices in this game that amount to murder, rape or not i fail to see where you see the issue. Sure there are some with illusion of choice but that's just how flavor text works and thats fine.

If I'd be for fucked up hentai content, I'd download a fucked up hentai anime and watch it. If I'd be for porn I'd just open some porn tube. It's a game, VN, so I'm here for the story. Story in the style choose-your-own-story. There are games here with fucked up content, I enjoy some of them. 'Cause dev has a story to tell and dev is giving us a choice. If none of mentioned are not in the game then I can say nothing good about it.
