Incredible quality!
The voice acting is mostly great. The recording devices are unimpressive, but you've got people that actually put emotion into their acting. So you've got current-year Hollywood beat.
The art, story and almost everything is very commendable. It's on my favorites list now. There are a few things I wanted though.
I wanted to progress further for mina, but nah, I guess there isn't much content for her as of now.
Marie-anne too, I'd love to progress further.
So far I just want more content, everything is already lit.
So, I've played Ravager and it is time for a review. In short, this game is amazing and has an astounding sense of detail to it. I will preface this by saying that I played it through 2 times. I'm certain that I haven't experienced all the different routes to go.
Ravager is a game where you play dragon as it grows up. No, not some dragon-boy or scaly person, but an actual dragon! If that isn't original, then I don't know what is.
The story has quite many choices and they often helps define your personality. Are you merciful or cruel? Do you go for strength or cunning? And so on. My point is that your actions also have feedback to your character. Furthermore, your stats also matter when trying to sway people or win in combat.
There are so far a bunch of different characters who all are quite different which is really interesting. I love how the Fan Girl is so excited about everything, how the merchant remains cool headed and how the farmer girl is sad that isn't with her animals anymore. However, I also hope that I over time will be able to treat these girls better. Like, why not allow the farmer girl to help out with various animals etc.
You can also recruit various minions to aid you in your quest to take the kingdom. The only drawback to me is that you need to give them girls who can sate their lost. I'd rather want to raise their morale by also giving them other concessions. Just like it would be nice to discipline them for a cost of something else. For instance the wolfs who fight with all their bestiality would be poor on the frontlines as they might not hold the line. Though, stealth missions in the countryside could be just their thing. Kobolts could be more defensive oriented with their traps and so on so forth. More minion interactions would generally be nice.
This game is also different in another aspect. Most adult games has more or less exclusively female characters in them - or at least the female characters are the only characters that matter. That is to me boring, as it doesn't emphasize why they matter and it makes the world overly simple. In this game, however, there are also male character who play an active role.
In terms of art, this game is really good as well. Some of it is animated which is cool and many of the characters are actually voiced. I usually don't care about voiced games because - to be fair, many games has subpar voicing. But this game has done a really good job in that department too.
So, for short(er) reading:
The Good
The world of the story is nice and coherent.
The story is well written.
The game is voiced, and unlike so many other games, this game has really good voicing.
The art is beautiful.
Many different decisions
Decisions have an impact on the story and your character.
Various minions that you can convince to aid you.
Most female characters, but male character also have important roles. (this is nice, as it gives more depth to the world as the characters are varied and not just fuck toys).
The In-Between
The game still needs more to do in each area. It would also be nice to be able to return to different areas - even if the risk is higher.
Having more stuff to do in the base would also be nice. This could be via realm building etc. It would also be nice if your actions throughout the world had more of an impact in how people perceive you.
The game could perhaps need more explanation/depth and nuance. For instance is the Regents rule only bad - or perhaps it is worse in some aspects but better in other aspects in comparison to the dragon-queens.
The Bad
I sometimes had some difficulty in imagining how big the Dragon is. Because in some scenes it appears that it has become really big, and then in others it attempts to sneak into a house etc. I think it would be nice if there were some measurements of how much it grew in each chapter. For instance, it already seemed kinda big when it bit the Regent etc.
It is very hard to play a benevolent overlord, and especially if you go for stats then this will be even harder. This will over time lead you towards certain decisions, which might not always fit with your play-style.
More and varied poses could be nice and help avoid it to become too repetitive.
In general, there isn't too much bad stuff to say though.
For another brilliant review, check out @Wehrmacht_Wichser as he/she has some good points. I also agree with them that this game, while certainly an H game, is more of a story game. Unlike Wehrmact_Wichser, I don't find it too "artsy". I think its because the way the game is made with an emphasis on the story and world and less so with H content. Though, it is still serviceable for that too IMO.
In other words: If the Developer succeeds at maintaining a coherent story and world while providing nuance and depth to the story; then this game is sure to be amazing.
My favorite game out at the moment. Assuming you're into the fetishes the game has a ton of (see tags) this is a great RPG where your decisions greatly impact the game and can result in your death/game over. The story and settings are great, the art is beautiful, they have some excellent music/audio, and unlike virtually every other NSFW game I've played, they surprisingly have really good voice actors. Highly recommend and have subbed to their Patreon to support the developers.
v: 4.2.1 First game that I had to review.
Great game that is innovative and different. Playstyles feel adequately different with choices and actually seeing outcome of choices throughout dragons life. Good amount of text but well written with good quantity of high quality images for the most highly sophisticated gentlemen..
EDIT: oh forgot that seems well balanced but the last conquering act is a little too difficult and forces hard choices pushing towards restarting with the easy setting. Even though this is negative game overperforms everywhere else so still 5 or maybe 4.9/5
HIGHLY RECOMMEND for something different, fun, with replay value
Such a cool concept of a game, feels like a porn RPG. There's a decent amount of stuff to do, the game is almost fully voice acted, it only stands to improve the animations and some sex scene renders.
Okay, I am going to be professional for a sec here, don't worry this isn't going to take long.
I am a small Patron, tester, and Simplified Chinese translator (not in the current version yet) of this game, so basically the "Outer Party" member if you imagine we are Oceania...and if you have read 1984.
This means my review may or may not have some bias, take that as you will.
Also, my actual review if we go by points is 9/10.
But since this website still doesn't allow a half-star rating, I am going to give it a full score because as mentioned, I am biased.
So anyway, Ravager is a, how do I describe this?
Overlord simulator? okay, I am going to go with "VN with actual choices that matter" game in which you play as a dragon Overlord.
The premise:
You are, as mentioned, a dragon.
Not the anime kind of a guy with horns and/or tails. But a full-blown fuck off dragon, the story starts with your literal birth from an egg in a princess's chamber. In which she greets you and tells you the initial situation of "Why you are here?"
The simplified (and maybe wrong but similar anyway) version of the story is the royal family of this nation draws power from the dragons, But now all other dragons died out due to war and stuff.
With the loss of power, the Kingdom has turned into a Republic under some Lord Regent, like the Cromwell times of England.
While the royal princess is left powerless and being a political figurehead, like current-day England.
But unlike current-day England which the country is run with an actual democratic system, it is implied the Lord Regent is basically a king without the title.
Which means, what else, power struggle.
The princess somehow gets you from...somewhere, implying you are the last dragon of the land. So she can regain power from the Lord Regent using you as a legitimacy token.
The Story & Writing / presentation: It is quite epic. Yeah, I said that, that is my initial thought when I first dive into the game serval months ago. My first "playthrough" really gives a sense of an epic tale in a text-based adventure, but with actual pics and stuff.
In fact, this storytelling really reminds me of that phrase: "Art Is A Compromise Between Your Vision And Reality".
The vision of this story is grand, but the reality is it is still sort of tied down in the VN/Choose your own adventure format. So they have to utilize and stretch the medium being a VN as far as possible.
Granted, if there is anything bad about this writing. Is the initial magic is weakened on repeated playthroughs...since different choices lead to different things, this game is recommended to do so.
But hey, anything will be less effective on repeat. This includes pain killers, the same porn animation, and crystal meth.
The Gameplay: First of all, it is worth mentioning you can turn off any fetish you don't like in the settings, so don't get scared by the vore or gay...they are less than a handful anyway.
It is a VN with "Choices actually matters" alongside a light RPG system.
For example, if you meet a girl, you can either ignore her, grab her, do the standard adult game thing since you are a dragon, or kill and devour her.
Each choice will come with different outcomes, that either, in no particular order, levels up your stats, get you a new "prisoner" or, well, sex scenes.
Granted, not every female NPC is open to let you do the above deeds, sometime you have to play your cards, or your roles of either being an absolute evil overlord that kills everyone you can, or as a benevolent (as benevolent as a dragon can be) ruler...I can't go into too many details without serious spoilers.
But ehhh, here is some anyway:
Speaking of the ruler stuff,
It is rather complex to juggle all of this if you choose the "stats actually matter mode" since one really needs to make some serious sacrifice to advance the plot. Like do you throw girls to the soldiers so they can fight? Or keep it for yourself and try to hold it out?
If there is one thing I don't like about this- actually make it three.
First of all, it can be very hard in the "stats actually matter mode" that makes it impossible to be a benevolent ruler.
And at later points of the game, when you are basically the Overlord, and seeing your soldier fails once again, I always have the feeling of "I am a big fuck off dragon, now fuck off useless minions. I will do it myself."
But no, that is not always a choice, in fact, the vast majority of time when your men are sent into battle, you can only stand by even when they got their ass beats.
Granted, the dev himself actually once tell me that is initially thought of, but cut because of various reasons.
Still, I feel like I am useless when one considers the "choices actually matter" mode requires some serious sacrifice.
Lastly, when you interact with a girl, "killing her" is almost always an option.
Granted, I like the openness of choices, but when I am not going to kill them, seeing the choices every time I want to bother them is a bit weird...yeah now I am just nitpicking,
The Artstyle: There is actually two different art style: One is the more western cartoon kind when you talk to characters, and there are the actual sex scenes.
You can see the example images and judge them by yourself, the animation is a bit buggy due to Ren'py being an ass to work with. But again, you can turn them off in settings.
Anyway, I like its uniqueness, in between the five billion anime porn and serval gazillion 3D models, this style really stands out.
While despite my positive impression of them, here is a vulgar standard I have to mention.
I feel like this is because it is a bit too "artsy" for me, as I play through it for treating it as a "game", rather than something to keep in the spank bank for later.
Don't get me wrong, there are scenes. A fuck ton of them, actually.
But I kinda view them like "art" and not- you get the drill.
In conclusion/TL;DR:
Compare to my other reviews, I can't help but feel this is a bit shorter.
But here is the thing, I play through to the latest chapter about five or six times, and am now too used to the first serval chapter. To the point it may be impossible to be accurate in my critique. TL;DR this is an Epic fantasy VN that you play as an actual fuck off dragon. With a "choice actually matters" mechanic that lets you dictate most people's fate, as an Overlord should be. While you build your power, army, and your harem to eventually take over the land.
I was pleasantly surprised by this game, it has a proper balance of pacing, game mechanics dialogue making it a all around well curated game.
Graphically, it's good, and it serves its purpose. It's nothing particularly out of the ordinary, with only a few distinct poses and animations for each character for most of the game, but again, it serve the purpose of the story and generally help with visuals. Some improvements could be made to add more in-betweens poses for some actions and a larger variety of expressions to better fit the context in the dialogue. But again, it's good enough for now.
Story wise and for characters, it's also pretty good! There is a nice variety of personalities that can react better or worse depending on your actions and i particularly like that the story is fairly simple and easy to follow. In fantasy themed lewd games, it's easy to go overboard with the lore exposure, making you lose interest and just wanting to skip to the good parts, but that rarely was the case here.
The fact that you are a dragon also give it an interesting and unique POV for the character.
Gameplay wise, i have nothing much to say! You can make the choices you want, to be merciful or cruel at your discretion, devour people that annoy you or have no interest. There is an "easy" and "hard" mode, for players that wish to have more consequences for their actions or for those who want to focus more on the story and characters. Personally, i played on Easy mostly to be able to make the choices i want without being compelled by stats.
Stats are actually easy to get and never feel much like a grind due to their inclusion into relevant events and the lack of repetitive events (There is no "Train 10 times in a row repeating the same boring ass event to grind stats"), so it makes for a pretty natural, yet interesting pacing.
You can also choose exactly what kind of content you wish to see. For example, if you are into pregnancy or gay stuff, you can turn them on but if you are not into say rape or futa's you can also turn them off. So you can tailor the game to the exact type of scenes you want to see.
The main reason i'm leaving 4 stars is that the game has a bit of rough edges left and right, as well with the inconsistent amount of contents across characters, being spread out between 8-9 characters or so, with more or less between them and depending on locations and such.
There is voice acting too, but i honestly never cared much for that since voice acting in lewd games is usually... eh... kind of bad. Also, it prevents me from progressing the story at the speed i want (I'm a fast reader, so having to wait for the voice actors to follow through is just annoying). Personally, i turned these off.
Overall, it's a pretty good game, definitely worth checking out.
It does feel like a game - it is not just another almost completely linear visual novel which also could have been just a very long text with pictures.
I like the stats - so you see your decisions have consequences... I like the artwork (most of the time) and I had really a lot of fun playing thru the game (two times).
I will play it another time in a couple of months when there is more content. And I am going to support the game with money.
Why not 5 stars? There is room for improvements. So this is a very good rating. And the visuals could be more ... stunning, more details... less static (even the animated)... dont get me wrong. This is one of the best visual novels I have seen - usually I dont try them anymore because they are just an endless reptition... this one is different.
A bit rough around the edges but some of the best rape content in the game. Soul shows through in the art and writing and really makes up for the occasional tonal issues (looking at you, fangirl).
One thing I appreciate here is the flexible focus on dubious consent. The game gives you the freedom to be downright cruel or even lovey-dovey as an alterative to your typical dick-swinging magical rapiness. So only is that a comfortable sweet spot to be in on the spectrum, but the game also provides some contrast itself.
I love it! What else can i say. I am always down for story where i can be anything other race then H U M A N . In this game you take role of freshly hatch out dragon but the royal asshole will not like that (because he is a massive racist and if the game let me i would bite off his nuts). After the escape you will have the whole world.
Little tips for starters:
1.)be nice to every one who needs it (do not stats fights and don't threaten anyone)
2.) protect fan girl at all cost (she wold literally die for you)
Overall i like this game and i hope the developers will finish-it soon. Thanks for reading.
Good visuals. Decent voiceacting. The game crashes when you skip through stuff, so that's a bummer. Also, it may just be me, but the art style seems inconsistent throughout, with characters like the warlock not matching up with someone like Heloise.

Ravager is a Good game with an interesting premise and Great potential though for now it feels quite incomplete it's been 2 year's and we still haven't got to the part of taking back the capital and many of the girl's storylines are incomplete though i am hopeful that will change in the future and i must admit i really like the voice of dragon it gives quite an interesting flavor to the game in my personal opinion it wouldn't have affected the game much if the dev had decided to only voice the dragon i personally played it with all other voices mute except the dragon.
Love it, the game has what it needs & even more. All fantasies can come true and i would love to play final version of this game, and waiting for it every day. Please please please more updates.
I wanted to review this game for a long time, but just didn't know how to do it justice: So many aspects are worth mentioning, that i couldn't possibly list them all. So instead i've decided to just write a bit about what this game is...
Ravager is NOT a visual novel! Calling it a visual novel would be an insult. VNs are high grind, high noise - they make you do repetitive stuff and read through walls of flavour text that doesn't really affect the gameplay.
Ravager instead is more like an oldschool choose-your-own-adventure game, where every little choice you make has permanent consequences, and every scene matters. There is no filler, no grinding, and no noise: Just making one fateful decision after another. And unlike oldschool CYOA's, every scene is presented with atmospheric visuals, moody background music and sfx.
It reminds a lot of the heroquest-parts in King Of The Dragon Pass, which also were atmospheric high stakes CYOAs, where seemingly symbolic gestures had far reaching consequences.
And that's probably the only "flaw" of this game: It's hard to play without a walkthrough, because every choice you make opens up some paths in the future, while permanently closing others - and it's impossible to anticipate them all. So basically either you accept having to play through this game many times to see everything, or you need to plan your playthrough in advance, in order to get the set of outcomes you want.
EDIT: To clarify: This is not about unlocking some "perfect ending", because Ravager has no perfect ending: Every choice you make is a tradeoff. Problem is the game can't really tell you what those tradeoffs lead to without spoilering everything. And conversely you can't get your preferred conclusion without spoilering yourself by reading a walkthrough. I don't really blame the game for this: It's just an unavoidable drawback of creating a game where every choice matters.
If this or the game's theme doesn't put you off, then Ravager is an absolute masterpiece that should be in every porngame collection.
one of the most fun games I've played on this site, no bullshit boring combat. Good writing wonderful art and some good pacing. Overall something for everybody here no matter your tastes, would recommend for sure.
I was pleasantly surprised how much I like this game. It is a lot of fun and one of the only ones recently that I am going to replay - just to see some other stuff!
Mina is probably my favorite lady in this game, she is a handful in more than one way!
Noice just Noice.
Good ol rapey and good characters what is have their personality and fun to rape, love than betray be a real Sadist and give this now usless bitch to horny horde.
This is a game not just Visual Novel but really game with even RPG and Manager elements in it. With cool story and good MC what is do what you really want him to do. i have fun playing this for a long time i really enjoy gameplay. just thx. last time i have this fun in Old huntsman games.
