Another Kobold I guess,

Malice's child on the other hand (assuming Nagas aren't infertile) I am most curious for.
something like this but red....

although I think it's very unlikely that Malice is going to bear us a child, not because she's infertile (she literary can bend reality at will so bearing a child would be piece of cake) but because she's toying with us and probably will be the main villain at the end of the story.

The wolf people and the cat girls are "closer" to the moon goddess than the sun. Humans are perfectly in the middle.
Elves are 100% moon while dragons are 100% sun. Since the beast people are closer to the moon their offspring with dragons could be surprising.
Maybe just furry kobolds.

It used to be there was no such thing as prebuying, and yet some of the most beloved games of all time come from that era.
Eh, how many equally good or even better games never got made because they couldn't get the funding?

That being said, it sadly swings both ways. There are a ton of games that frankly don't deserve the money they rake on Patreon / SubscribeStar / whatever and plenty of projects get to the point where, depending on how charitable you wants to be, one (or more) of few things happen:

a) The developers realize the project is a cash cow and that there is no guarantee (or interest) to accomplish this feat again with a new project. An adult game likely also isn't the best thing to put on your CV when you inevitably need to find a "real" job if one does not already have one. Thus finishing the project would be detrimental to their lifestyle.

b) The spark of creative work extinguishes and dies, turning a passion project into a chore that is ever harder to get back into.

c) The long term issue of being an amateur game developer culminate into a codebase that is utter spaghetti mess that is a massive, time-consuming chore to wade through, grinding any real progress to halt.

d) Constant pandering to fickle audience siderails the original vision to the point that actually progressing any semblance of story becomes nigh-impossible. Perhaps characters you planned to be central to the story are so disliked you need to sideline them and their story, perhaps you caved in to pressure and made side-character(s) more and more central to the story and now need to figure out how to incorporate them into it, only to face audience backlash from said changes.

I wonder what the child of Naho would look like

PS. I hope there is a complete continuation of making Naho full fledged consort, including the experiment transformation of giving her the physique of a royal cocubine.

Ravager to Naho:

Like I said in another thread, the Patreon model incentivizes this sort of behaviour.

To add to your last point: a lot of amateur devs don’t have a real plan when they set out with their project and come up with everything as they go. This makes it even easier for them to fall into the trap of meandering or looking for patron feedback for every little detail, which completely kill the momentum of the project. In my opinion, every dev should have a clear picture, in their mind at least, of what the finished product entails before they even post version 0.1-alpha.

your expectations may be too high. Most dev. should have some idea of their path. No one would have a CLEAR picture unless it's part 2 and 3 of a planned trilogy. Not even for AAA studios. You start from a rough draft and you work from there and changes happen along the way.

I didn't care about your other point, where you're still holding onto the past where kickstarter didn't exist. This is how things are nyao, and there's no going back to that. Fundraisers can come out with good games from projects, like Crosscode and PSU Clementine.

But it is true that there is a lot of garbage around. Most of these lewd VN projects are trash. The idea of the lewd VN itself is trash. The problem isn't dev's, it's the audience. The audience started looking towards indie games Very favorably and were willing to shell out $$ for trashy games like Defender Quest. They're willing to shell out $$ for trashy lewd VN's made with Renpy. Renpy games are not for game dev's, but "artists" that want to earn cash without attempting to code a real game. All they have to do is render, and that is what they do all day. They don't really go anywhere. These projects are very easy to start and many people try to get in on the cash grab.

Then to address wat you're talking about. "Dev's" that respond to the community either aren't serious "dev's" or they have a team. You don't get Any work done if you engage with the community for half of your day every day. Real Dev's are going to be doing actual coding. If you're looking at a 1 man project that is very vocal with the community, you know that project is going in the garbage. In fact, serious dev's Would have a team. Crosscode didn't lift off due to the effort of 1 person. They had an idea, they got talent together, and built it up. That's how dev. works. A one man team's success rate is going to be Low. Progression will be Slow too.

Do we have a rough understanding of how close the game is to completion? Like is it 60% complete? 80%? Rough idea on how many years until done?

Plotwise, i would say 60% or so done. devs are working on releasing rest of the act 5 right now. From what i remember there will be 6 acts total. Content wise who knows.

Author said update will happen around 22 november. So 3 more weeks to go. Also, considering the level of activity so far I dont have my hopes up sadly, something-something one of the lead writers returned some time ago, something-something gathering was announced a way back. Nothing about progress in annoucments on discord.
Im not mad that i bought a steam copy since the initial game delivered, but considering that even when they announced date they warned that they may take a bit longer... yea, at this point GTA 6 will arive sooner.

Unfortunately for some reason he is shit at it and must outsource his breaking to a minion.
What kind of loser doesn't do his own breaking? what is even the POINT of breaking a bitch if it is someone else who does the breaking?
It is not about the destination (broken bitch), it is about the journey (you breaking a bitch)
