Really great game. Interesting to see Selene get sort of a redemption arc in storyline. Hopefully it continues and doesn't end up with her snapping and killing again. Looking forward to next update.
Chapter one MC to random friends in his former city :" it would be nice for you to visit the town where there is murderous cult. " Like even little bit realism and he should tell them to stay as far as possible from the town.

I'm a bit late to the Ravenous party I'll admit. But after just having read the latest ~50 or so reviews, and then catching up on the ~10 or so latest pages of posts, I ran across this. And with a massive amount of respect, I have some questions pertaining to what I read in the reviews, and the OP.These reviews are hilarious, lately.
Let's expect a literary masterpiece from a porn game.
Sometimes I wonder if people are here to jackoff, or to find a top selling author.
I mean, who the fuck needs their porn to be that way?
Yourr review means less than zero to me, as you arent the target audience.
Again, Im going to keep making it for myself, and the people that have been enjoying it, while these people that leave reviews continue to embarass themselves.
Yes, Im responding to a review in the thread because some people love the fact that you cant reply to a review, so thats why they post there, instead of int he thread.
1) A great many reviews (and even the OP) mention the game is a seriously slow burn. i.e. it's more of a "Visual Novel with a little bit of adult content", rather than an "Adult Visual Novel". The OP indicates it is a slow burn. And yet, you ask "...who the fuck needs their porn to be (a literary masterpiece)?"
If it's mostly a novel and a real slow burn, to hold readers' attention spans it actually does need to be good, no? I respect that it was intentioned as a slow burn, but I also think most people have a hard time sticking with an AVN that has a very limited amount of sex scenes if the writing doesn't really grab and hold onto them.
Do you think for that reason perhaps the amount of porn in the game to date is to little? I usually steer clear of *seriously* slow burn games, since I like playing AVNs, and not VNs. I'm here for porn, wrapped in mediocre-to-good stories. If you call it "porn", it must be porn... but is it when it's really slow? I haven't started the game yet, so I have no judgement to make - only what I can gather from reviews and the forum.
2) Who did you intend the target audience to be? AVN fans, or VN fans who read adult content? I personally believe they are two distinctly different groups. AVN fans love their H-scenes, and are looking for juicy content (often to fap to) wrapped in a story of whatever caliber. VN fans are looking for great stories that aren't just PG-13 material (my opinion).
3) Do you consider teasing scenes to be "jack-off-able"? Reviews indicate quite a bit of teasing in the game without actual sex - LIs skimpily clothed teasing the MC, where he doesn't capitalize on it, and no H-scene ensues. To me, that's a bit of a blue-ball where the reader is concerned, and not fappable content. But again - I don't know your feelings, nor your intentions for the desired demographic reading the game.
Take the questions with a grain of salt, from an AVN fan who hasn't played (yet). I respect every author's effort, but wanted to delve a bit into the why of what many reviews indicated. Cheers.

I know Im not addressing everything that you have said, but I can say that the sex in arc 2 is much more abundant than in arc 1. So "porn in the game too little,to date?" No. in arc 1? perhaps.
The first arc was meant to do a lot more than just show sex. The sex was meant to be more in arc 2 and 3.
Altogether, all 3 arcs are meant to be a complete story, so while arc 1 has a little sex, by the time arc 3 finishes, the sex in the "Whole game" will even out.
Target audience? Firstly, me. I said from the beginning, a few times that I'm making this one mainly for myself and sharing, and giving opportunity for support, if people feel like it.
My other game is more for me and for others. I'm being more open to suggestions (not demands).
I'm taking away things from the Ravenous feedback, and trying to direct some of it toward Ashwood. Not all, but some. I still want it to be what I want it to be.
I hope that somewhere in all of that rambling, I answered some of your questions.
But as for target audience, other than myself, I guess it would be for whoever likes it, likes it. whoever doesn't, doesn't.
so far, keeping in mind im barely into what could be considered day 3 in terms of in game time, it seems the world itself suffers from delusion and the MC is a complete pushover. the MC responded perfectly reasonably to most situations, what with his mother and sister, and the bum, and yet he is peer pressured by really unreasonable people into apologizing. his mother has her own circumstances sure but the way he reacted is perfectly normal for someone who isnt completely depraved, and homeless people who simply stay homeless, spend what money they can get on alcohol, and are generally bums deserve to stay that way, and in that situation there is no universe where i would apologise for calling him a bum or even be coerced into giving him more drinking money. I have seen a couple of games these days with MCs like this but honestly this one kind of annoyed the shit out of me from basically minute 1 so i felt i had to comment on it, maybe when i finish the game my opinion will have changed but for now this is a big issue imo.

I'm sorry, but I have to say... is it just me, or did they shove a marijuana dildo into the protagonist's brain? It's hard to explain why I think that, but that's the feeling I get... given the events so far.

when episode 16 goes public, The official android link will be available as well for whoever grabs it from subscribetar and updates the OP here. Official android ports only happen every 4 episodes. last official android port was episode 12.

With regards to Arc II - is there no way to turn down Alexandria and remove her from the LI list entirely? The MC keeps pursuing her, and I find her repugnant to a fault. I don't simply want to "skip scene" and have the story go on as though the MC's seeing her. Don't think I really even care about threesomes with her.. I would have shot her in Arc I given the option.

I don't understand it a bit, Naomi seems better in everything to me, better body, prettier face, nicer. On the other hand, Alex has smaller breasts, is not as well shaped, has freckles and is a cow, but I just find her hotter. And so she can be pretty naughty, you'll see for yourself.Bleh. Oh I don't mind her being naughty at ALL. What I mind, is her bitchiness and judgement when she knew nothing about the MC, and judged him based on a bad prior relationship. If I had my way (through story choices), I'd have sex with everyone BUT her, and make her absolutely beg for forgiveness and the MC's dick. She deserves nothing less. Let her get the D when she's fully broken down and suffered a bit first - it'd turn her into a submissive nympho that I could finally appreciate and forgive.

tl;dr... but i ran into a problem twice now that the renders dont match the dialog. cant remember exatctly the first, but the second one is in act2 when alex was talking to katherine and it showed renders of mc and his sister.

Did a search and only saw two posts mentioning your other title. Is it connected to this in any way (don't do Discord so can't check there) or is it entirely independent, maybe sharing the aesthetic of Ravenous, maybe existing in the same universe, but otherwise no crossover of story lines? Not asking for any deep discussion or spoilers, just to know if they will possibly intersect at some point or not.

Probably the same universe, but not connection (yet). But IIRC LamentEntertainment said that girls wich are grounded by Dave's gang are from Ashwood.
