LamentEntertainment Hey buddy, could you please do us all a favour and divvy up your files a bit when uploading them? The thing about this game (referring to Arc 2 in particular) is that it is getting pretty dang chunky now, and with most sites you can only download about 5 gigabytes before they cockblock you.

As it is right now, whenever you upload a new version, it adds an even higher/bigger overall file size for the game on top of its already pretty chunky one, which essentially disincentivises people from downloading the game at all. Especially seeing as how every update makes it more and more difficult to get the game downloaded in a decent amount of time, regardless of how fast one's internet connection may be.

If you can manage it, try to separate new content into smaller packages that people can simply download independently from the larger whole of the game (like what Moonbox is doing with his game, Grandma's House) and then simply extract those into the main game's folder, as that will help us players get the new content downloaded in a timely manner as it's released.

If that's not doable for you, you may want to segment Arc 2 into smaller, independently playable "games" to help keep download sizes at a modest level. Either way, unless you take some pretty serious measures to resolve this issue, it will get more and more tedious for people to keep downloading the updates, which will eventually cause public interest to diminish or even dissipate altogether.

So please, for the good of us players, the game, and ultimately even yourself, would you be so kind as to make an effort to keep downloads manageable?

we are actually working on adding "update only" downloads to drop into the game folder.

The main reason that I haven't done that yet, is because I haven't had any call for it.

2. don't want to have to do anything farther than unzip and play. (meaning not dragging and dropping files into other folders).
3. Dont want to keep the game on their pc because the pc is shared, or for other reasons.
3. Nobody seemed to care just yet. ( I had a feeling it was coming soon though)

I will go ahead next update with an additional download for "update only" addition.

We actually worked on it already, just had a few bumps to get past. We figured out our issues though,I'm pretty sure.

Don't forget #4 (or the 3rd #3 ): since almost no devs keep everything the same internally for very long, patching only usually works for one or two updates, at which point you have to DL the entire game all over anyway. So it is almost never worth it** as long as you have decent DL speed and compressed options are available.

**Unless it's a very boring dev who never updates software or game architecture and only releases regular micro-updates (e.g., Couples). None of which apply to this game, hence the lack of interest in update-only patches. So while it sucks to need that kind of option because you have bad internet access, it's actually really positive feedback if there hasn't been much interest in such patches for this game.

I may be an exception here, but I tend to keep every AVN game I download on my computer (secondary drive). Once a new update releases, I make a backup copy of the save folder, delete the old game version, install the new version fresh, then copy over the old save and new patch if needed (I don't rely on the appdata saves). I never bother with update only releases because I've run into one too many issues with them over the years and it's just not worth it. Besides, my computer and internet performance is awesome, so whether or not I download the full game or just the update, it only takes a few minutes before I'm gaming again anyway.

As I said already, torrents don't have restrictions... download as much as you want and as fast as you want. Probably every AVN on F95 can be found at RPDL torrent site.

Solutions are there, you just need to be willing to accept them.

Guys, we'll just make an "update only" download in addition to the regular downloads, starting for episode 13.
It's all good.
That will help more people, and it probably helps m e too in the long run.
However, I'll go so far as to post it to my SS, it will be up to somebody else to grab it for here, when it goes public (or leaks).

LamentEntertainment Is it possible that you changed the order of some of the pictures and their names since the last version? I still couldn't figure it out. So it's possible that the last two episodes are a bit mixed up.

There was an oversight on our part with coding. When adding the scene in question. The replay folders have the same scene numbers from arc 1, so when they are called upon in arc 2, they actually call the images from the arc 1 replay gallery.

But again when we tested again after dealing with the error, it was no longer an issue. I don't know what the reason could be that people are getting it.
Only 2 people have reported an error now, though.

It amazes me how many entitled people leave reviews like this, and don't realize that non idiots can read reviews and are able to tell that the person leaving the review shouldn't be taken seriously.
If you just wan to fap without reading, why are you even on a porn game forum? There's porn everywhere.

As a brand new account your going to have a hard time enjoying porn games if you cant handle some reading.

These are the great minds for whom the "three words and fuck" pornos were made. Zero mental capacity and, for some reason, have decided they want to get off to rendered sex rather than just grabbing porn loops. And even if rendered sex is what does it for them, there are places to get that without downloading a VN.
