I don't know much about viruses and all that, but I did have a "ball-breaker" for 1 year screwing me over by attacking me, the truth is I know that a Trojan is a Trojan ... I mean a virus yes or yes, the other I looked for on the internet and well they classify it as malware like the other one, but the worst thing is that ... WHY DOES THE CREATOR OF THE GAME HIMSELF ( ) UPLOAD A FILE WITH A VIRUS, isn't there SUPPOSED to be transparency in their games? That's right, if I'm wrong about what I don't know why those 2 files are classified as viruses. If you know of something that I don't know about this topic, let me know, I'm on top of everything.

2/64 is pretty good. Your mistake seems to be assuming that being flagged as a virus means something IS a virus. But it does not.

Due to the way virus detection works, there's often false positives. Times when the virus detection flags a virus where there's nothing but a coding error or unusual process.

If only one or two services are returning positives, that is not a sign of a very sneaky virus. It is a sign that those two services are mistaken. As they are here - you can go look in the code directly, it is not a trojan.

So isn't the creator supposed to fix that? Since the program says it's a virus, and you tell me it could be due to bad code, shouldn't he directly report that in the post about the false positive that the file has?

*sigh*
A false positive simply means that the code is doing something where a virus detector might consider it malware. It doesn't mean the only option is bad code (though it is a possibility, albeit rare). It could be accessing system files, a common procedure but one that might trip a scanner as just one example. There's nothing to fix there because it's normal operation of the program.

Now let's look at that screen you put up. Two scanners, neither very well known, one throwing up it's default response for unusual behavior and the other providing a guess at best. In IT security, this is the equivalent to a drunk saying he knows who killed JFK last year.

Now please stop trying to present yourself as some form of expert. You got hit by a piece of malware and are coming to paranoid conclusions. The last update for the game was over two years ago and no one has reported any malicious activity. If there was a virus it would have been reported as such by now.

I love learning new analogies and logic from fellow hentai gooners. This shit's peak bro

No, because there's nothing to fix. Virus scanners are by nature very sensitive and false positives are quite common, for a number of reasons, among which being that "things Viruses do" and "things reasonable programs like games do" are almost the exact same list.

If anyone needs to change it's the virus protection, but those guys already update basically weekly and are generally more concerned with actually catching whatever the newest monster on the block is than worrying about minor, easily identifiable false positives on niche indie hentai games.

OK, let's say it was an error in the code, but looking a little more and looking at other things, according to what they say is that "A TROJAN VIRUS cannot be created simply by making mistakes when writing a code", you're telling me that the antivirus can create false positives, I believe you because it has happened to me with other programs, but, I understand that if it is recognized as a "Trojan", or any virus, THEY ARE NOT CREATED BY MISTAKE".

No, those did not recognize a trojan virus. You are misreading the result. It is saying the closest match is Trojans - and, indeed, this can be done accidentally and is in fact the most frequent false positive.

Because Trojans, by nature, are meant to look like other programs and not like viruses. So of course that's the default result if you have a legitimate program that "looks like" a virus; that's by design.

You are making a mistake thinking that this is an error in the program itself. It is not. The program is not doing anything wrong. Toss some programs from your own computer through there - I guarantee you will get false positives on almost half of them. You will get suspected trojans on over a quarter. You can put windows itself through a virus filter and it will come up positive.

That is why collection sites like the one you used exist. Because you can discard the positives if only one or two systems are showing them; you should only read it as a virus if more than half the checks come up positive.

Trust me, this is literally my field, bro. This is not abnormal. This game is not at fault. Nobody would be in this thread arguing with you if the game download actually was a virus.
