[To be continued.] Although, on the subject of conspiracy theories, where are all the conspiracy theorists in the bad ending? There are tons of people claiming Marilyn Monroe had a mental break after being subjected to mind control for years. Imagine how much more widespread that belief would be in a world where the existence of mind control helmets is actually public knowledge and not a conspiracy theory. But I guess Mistress Red's just not popular enough to bring out the real crazies. ...Well, aside from one.

Been awhile since I had a chance to look at this. Of course playing through the routes was a joy yet again. The true hypnosis path is pretty dark, but I adore how it is used to make her happy. Of coure Kylie's route is a joy to play and I like the touch where you can't make decisions through the end. It would be fun to have some branches, but being dominated doesn't give you much of a choice. Perfect ending between the protagonist and Kylie that was rather wholesome and this was the best regretful Rachel so far.

It's been awhile since I've heard from this game. I'm not really a fan of the 3D art as it is. This isn't a porn or hentai game. It's a visual novel with an actual story.
I'd say expressions are the most important factor here. In 2D, it's easy to swap out faces for different emotions.
My advice would be, rather than remake everything you've done so far, keep this game in 2D, but continue practicing and learning more about 3D modeling, then apply it to your next project, whatever that may be.

Just after Re Education 0.33 was released, the hat lost somebody close to them. They passed away yesterday morning.

The hat will keep working on Re Education because it provides a focus and a goal. With that in mind, let's get some questions answered:

That's not a grammatical issue. "marched to the beat of his own drummer." is a very deliberate choice of words.

The way it's phrased sounds like he's got a personal drummer.

That's because he does. Zach has his own personal drummer providing the beat that he marches to. That drummer is you.

That drummer is you and anyone else who plays Re Education. After all, it is you who makes decisions about what Zach does. Does he let Rachel go and do his best to make amends? Or does he go full villain? Or does he do something in between?

Are you, the player, patient enough to hear Rachel out? Or are you impatient and have Zach slap the helmet on her without thinking?

You're the drummer, so you decide the beat. You decide the beat, but Zach still decides the song.

Good question. The hat has an answer for that, but would rather you think about it. Where are all those conspiracy theorists indeed?

It would be fun to have some branches, but being dominated doesn't give you much of a choice.

On that path, you have seen several choice menus. They all have one choice, but if there was intended to be one choice, why put in a menu at all? Those menus will have more choices added in future versions.

If you see a choice menu in Re Education that has only one choice, it means that more choices are planned. Of course that means more story branches that need to be written, and more art assets that need to be created.

I think you should ask other devs here on this site. I think no pure gamer could answer that question or could give you a good suggestion.

Take me for example. I have Add Block turned on 24/7. I never got adds or banners.

The hat is aiming for the end of February for the next release of Re Education. This release will continue the "true hypnosis" path. There will be some new scenes, and some variants on existing scenes.

The hat is also working on a little side project. Version 0.35 of Re Education will feature an updated menu item related to that side project.

GREAT potential. not gonna lie. but the scenes that follow there... i feel the part where the option not to use the Re Education Helmet on Chloe sends me the chills. GOOD CHILLS. is the next option to that is the harem path that I'm waiting for? (the one with the Good "Kinky" vibes)

Spring is coming, and we are approaching one year of development on Re Education. A lot has happened since April 2021, and not all of it has been good.

Where it has been good is the amount of progress on Re Education. Over the past year it has grown from just an idea, to a 40,000+ word visual novel, with hundreds of images. Over the past year, the purple hat making this game has gotten a lot better at 3D modelling. And over the past year, Re Education's story has grown and branched out with several different paths, and different outcomes depending on which options you pick.

Where it has been bad is the hat lost somebody important to them at the end of January. and now things are uncertain. The hat has had a lot on its plate since then, not just related to that. Still, work has been progressing on Re Education.

Yes. In fact such a route is planned out. However there is femdom content already in the game. If you're not aware, choose to not snoop through Rachel's computer.

All of the above, depending on the route. Well, I don't think that first one is in the game in the current routes (depending on what you count as a "personality"), but I wouldn't be surprised to see it show up in a later route. One option at the beginning of the game even basically just goes, "Oops, you broke her," and takes you straight to a bad ending.
