The beginning of v2 took me a while to even understand what was going on.

I get they just remade the game but I have no direction at all, no idea what to do or where to go and its just empty everywhere? I feel like I'm missing something SUPER obvious but I've tried everything I can think of.
Nvm, I got it. For anyone else that gets stuck. Go home and Skip time. Don't sleep just skip time by pressing the sun while in your room.

I am not a big fan of the new MC, him being considerably older and not a part of the school takes away some of the best parts of the Story along with how interesting the borrowing quirk made things, this one is kind of generic "I can do whatever the story requires me to do" and "sex fuels me because this is a porn game"

Agree with you on this one attending UA as a student felt more better than just being a recent graduate. It takes away the mha feeling to the game.

I'm relatively okay with not being part of UA proper. Like, it has been done a couple bajillion times before so fuck it, they're trying something new, let 'em.
But yeah, the power borrowing was definitely way better than whatever weird light manipulation he's got going on except his dick is a shake-to-charge battery pack. It makes the sex feel like it's stuffed in wherever it would fit instead of being there from the beginning, weirdly enough.
Momo immediately wanting to bang him because of weird time shit is also not... It just doesn't slot together as nicely as before. I agree that a porn game should "start" with porn, like, you need to have sex pretty quickly so the player knows what it's gonna be like and can drop it or skip forward or get hyped depending on how it's done, but it doesn't work as well if it's just sorta tossed at you like this.
I think things would be better if the time machine changed his quirk from blastin' to power copying, and have him confide in Midnight because she was his teacher. Not like we're here to choke our dicks to Eraserhead after all. Now you have a set-up for Midnight to get flirty, MC catches a feel by accident or by sleaze, and then he accidentally copies her sleepdust.
With Midnight in the know, the two can put one and one together and Midnight is exactly the kind of character to give the MC a ride if it means powering him up, since she knows he's not really a student any more. Bingo bango, you have an interesting quirk with an interesting catch and in the same breath an excuse to have smut in the first fifteen minutes of gameplay.

, I agree that the Momo part is rushed, but I chose not to use Midnight at this point because I have a story I want to tell, and it doesn't involve her just yet. It might be better or worse, but at least I myself like it better than the old story. Gotta have some motivation .It just...I find myself growing out of reading fanfiction that follows the canon plot closely. Nowadays, the more a story deviate from the original source, the more I enjoy it, so I find the old plot harder and harder to write. The last few patches' writing is pretty much filler.

I find that my favorite fanfics are one that are set during the canon plot, and start like canon, but with one or two small changes that have bigger and bigger effects until they buck the train off the rails and into the jungles of the unknown.
Like, it's fine if the fanfic starts with Deku and he meets All Might and Bakugo's an asshole, but what if Deku wants to be the first Quirkless Hero as a point of pride? Now you have a big deviation from the plot, from a fairly minor deviation from canon Deku, that results in him not getting OFA and then every plot point after has to be at a minimum very different, yeah?
I don't read fanfic to retread canon, but I also don't read fanfic to read an original fiction story with very little in common with the canon. I want that throughline.

Man this is one of those games where you have no idea what the fuck you're supposed to do. I was first stuck after talking to eraserhead, thankfully someone here said that you can click on the sun to pass time. Now after doing that I'm stuck after talking a second time with eraserhead. What are you even supposed to do ? It's so badly explained and it's such a shame as the art is really interesting

Damn, sorry everyone for the bad experience u all have had with the game. It's indeed lack of a lot of things like QoL and clear direction/UI for the player. We were eager to push the game out so we missed things we wanted to do for a better playthrough.
Hope u will comeback for the next update in July, we sure will add those and make the game much more clear and better explained

I'm half and half on the new version. On one hand, I like where the artwork has improved and (although I may be in the minority) I honestly like the new story more, at least so far. Buuuuuut, I don't like how there's a lack of direction, and the fact that by going back to square one, it feels like all the work originally put into the first version of the game was, well, wasted. Obviously that's not truly the case, as it gives experience, but it still feels like a waste to have all those scenes drawn and written out, then thrown to the wayside.
With some more polish, my first problem is fixed, but the clean slate part still is gonna eat away at my enjoyment of the game until a LOT more content is released. Until then, though... well, it just feels kinda bittersweet to play. It's nice, but, missing the content the original had built up. Once you guys catch up, I'm sure this can be great, though. I just hope it doesn't take too long.

I'm just starting V2 and I have to say, it does look a lot better. Well done.
But I really really liked that the MC's power was effectively the power of friendship in quirk form in V1. The sex scenes that came from it felt like a more understandable progression of their relationships, but needing to engage in sexual interactions for a recharge feels contrived. That said, a tweak to it would work, I love the idea of bad rumors going around about the character. And if it was changed to close intimate contact as a general description, more intimate stuff would of course give more energy as opposed to holding and being held by another person. It would still make sense for the MC's backstory, but not come off as the something that could be in the top 5 most used MHA h-doujin quirks.

Not sure if it matters but I do want to add to the choir here.
The game looks great, and a remake might well have been necessary due to the old janky code in the original but the MC change has so far been a lot less appealing. Removing the classmate dynamic makes relationship building a lot more awkward and the quirk powered by sex seems like a lazy and less interesting version compared to the previous one. I get that it's the first version but so far the story and set up seems less interesting than the previous one and it's a shame they shifted direction from the otherwise solid (if buggy) original game.
