It's just really short right now.... because it's still a very new project. Not sure why some folks expect a game to be 100% perfect + complete on it's first big release.

I can't seem to get the resolution to change. My laptop has a 4k screen for work stuff and so I guess this game just sets it's resolution to 4k automatically? Even when I dropped the desktop resolution down to 1600x900 which is what I game at on this laptop, it still is stuck in 4k. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Unfortunately, apparently, options and saves are not included in the build. Just check on the starting screen where UI is displayed. If "Options" is greyed out, hollow, that means it is not optimized and the devs never purchased the proper UI off Unreal store.
Resolution is set remotely by Video card drivers and/or screen resolution. Hard set it to smaller and it should stick.
For unreal specifically ... search the ini file inside game folders and set it accordingly.

Got to say, i was overenthusiastic when this thread just got created. People were saying that this game will not go anywhere further than this tech demo. They were right it seems. 3 months almost zero updates.

Come on... They are only getting 1~2k$ per month; If they were earning the same 30k some stupid projects like redamz's are, they would have an amazing game in a single year.

They still have way to go to get to one year.
They set their own goals. They live by them.
They send the messages they want.
Pretty sure the tech moguls that got millions for their start ups had way less for their pitch
but made it work way better.

I agree and I will add that I fell through the world when I was walking in to the back yard of one of the houses. Then I was able to run to the Sunbay sign. You will see that some of the supports for the sign are just floating in the air.
I wish the developers good luck on what looks to be a monumental task.

That ain't gonna happen its using a 64 engine. You gonna have to get with the times you about half a decade behind... I don't want to be mean but a game like this is gonna use a new game engine not renpy...

Closer to a decade and a half.

I haven't used a 32 bit OS since like, 2006.
