If you get errors like these, you probably have a problem with a .rpy file. Did you get the game here or on another website? in the folder "Realm-invader_root/game/" do you have script.rpa and a file named choice.rpy? If yes, try renaming the "choice.rpy" file to something else.

Yeah i got it from this site and im using the official walkthrough mod from the first page so not sure what the issue is, ill try renaming the file and see what happens.

no mods or other patches, downloaded the game again and no files seemed to be different but its working now so ill consider it fixed, thanks for the help anyway
for people who are getting the choices bug in episode 2 part 2, just download the game again and use only official walkthrough mod and IPatch from Vodsky in page 74 instead if you want that and you are good to go.

Either my game is bugged or I am just tired af I am on the lyrical freestyle part where I have to present the evidence and no matter which time I choose to present either picture nothing progresses this part been trying everything to get it to progress at this point.
You have to click on the correct yellow word in the sentence that pops up on your screen. If I remember correctly, you need to select the picture where you see Hugo and his elf friend together, and it's toward the end of the sequence, after the word in black, where the picture contradicts the statement.

I mean the entire plot thread isn't going to be completely dead, there obviously will be some connection for the MC to follow - maybe not right this second, but at some point - that leads to answers. It's definitely a bit frustrating to not get any answers but not getting them now doesn't mean we'll never get them.

I enjoyed the hell out of this game. Haven't laughed like that in a while. The only other AVN which managed to make me laugh this hard was Eternum. I also loved the characters, especially Vineeta and Noelle. Though, I have a minor, personal problem with not the lack of penetrative sex itself, but the way it was presented/executed.
The lack of penetrative sex is honestly beginning to come off as weird at this point. I don't even get why someone would want this as an author. Things like being constantly interrupted and it being played off as a joke is the shit you see in media that CAN'T show sex scenes. Oh, and it's never funny. Like at all. It's the same kind of humor as constant interrupted confessions that the author plays off as a joke.
I genuinely wouldn't mind not having penetrative sex till a certain point, or at all, even. It's the interrupted scenes that annoy me. For example, the scene with Grace at the party felt completely natural to me, because we were given an actual reason for it, not an annoying interruption. The interrupted scene with Stella was just annoying, but the one with Miya already felt forced.
Though, again, not sure why as an author of an AVN you'd even want to put off penetrative sex scenes until a certain point this far into the game. The only reasonable explanation I see is that sex somehow makes Gary awaken more or some shit like that, which really would be tied to the plot progression.

Maybe they think that blueballing you enough times will make you as excite as the MC when he can finally go through with it.
I think Gary regrets blueballing us a little too, as in he just felt like he had to keep going with his initial vision. We're definitely due some in the next update though.
It's pretty common (more common than not, in my experience) to put off penetrative sex scenes with main LIs for a while. Eternum's MC doesn't have sex with a main LI until Ch. 5 of that game (but does with two very-side characters prior to that). It's some chapters into Now & Then before that MC gets with an LI. In Harem Hotel, you're some distance into everyone's story but one before you're having sex with them.
But there's also usually a (perceived) need to get some sex in early. In Eternum, it's those very-side characters; in Harem Hotel it's Ashley. Here, I guess the dream with Stella (where we don't see anything) serves that purpose. But it being at least the third chapter/episode before the MC actually gets with one of the main LIs just doesn't seem that unusual to me. Episode 2 just isn't that far into the game.

Well, I agree that it is common. I'm not certain myself why it feels so unnatural to me in this case. I didn't mind at all while playing Eternum. Though, funnily enough, there was an opportunity for non-LI penetrative sex very similar to Eternum (with Eva) at the very beginning, with Selvo and Tisha, but we were interrupted. I'm beginning to see a theme here.
At least that served a definite plot purpose--though IIRC the better option was nonpenetrative with them too (neither one was going to happen, but MC wouldn't lose as much money that way).
But while I'm not sure I agree that it feels unnatural, nor that it "should have" happened by now, I do think we're at the point where it needs to happen very soon:
- Grace and MC have both said, to each other, that they want to have sex with each other.
- So have Miya and MC.
- Stella and MC haven't said it, but they've said and done enough to make it obvious to both of them.
- Chloe hasn't been quite as explicit, but I'm pretty sure MC gets the picture.
- Cadence is a little less clear--she seems to really enjoy blowing MC, but the slave thing makes me question how she really feels about MC.*
* I'm confident that they'll be romantically and sexually together before the end, but I'm not sure either of them feels that way right now.
