Neither. This game has little to do with the previous game despite sharing a similar title. In this game's universe, the events of Beware of Mr. Wang happen within a game. So this second game within the series is more of a standalone entry rather than a sequel or a spin-off.

I got to the window (right after the end of the intro game-within-a-game story) titled Seek Girl VIII with a list of titles (games?) mostly in Chinese, and three buttons you can click on to like, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can click on that advances the game. Does anyone know what I should do next?
