Couple of thoughts from reading some of the above comments.
1- This is not a sex game. Waiting for sex is going to frustrate you. The author has stated there is one significant sex scene coming. One for sure. That is all that is for sure. This is not a sex game..so please keep that in mind.

2-This is not Underworld. This is not a vampire action anime. This is about the development of the plot, until we reach an inevitable boiling point. Violence in this is brutal and final and puts an end to hundreds or thousands of years of existence. That is not a cartoony subject, which most of the anime vampire non stories are. So please keep that in mind.

3- This episode contained quite a bit, which would mean a lot to those of you who are reading this for more than fap-fu or anime Vamp-fu. There is intrigue that is building. Yes we are at the half way chapter, so no doubt this is going to have some things going on. We had an enormous amount of things revealed even if you do not see it your first time through.

4-Someone expressed a problem with the MC using Silent Whispers on the potential blood doll. That he was human not long ago. While I agree with the statement he was human not long ago, he is very non human now. More so than Sharon, who has had 70 years to lose it, and yet holds tightly. The blood coursing sluggishly through the MC's veins is so much different than anything we know in real life, but the fiction gives it a power and strength that is unimaginable. 5- Stats reset.... hum. Mine at the end of this are Stealth-25, Charisma-32, Prowess-30 and I possibly missed something on this play through. I can not digest the stat reset without seeing your save game file and if you are using a bootleg mod to cheat or something.

6- Guys and ladies. Someone above stated blah blah blah, maybe set within a certain set of rules blah blah blah. To be clear, the authors have their own system if you will, and their own mythology, but it is definitely inspired and influenced by Vampire the Masquerade. The authors have both expressed their admiration for that work, cited it as inspiration, and as they are not stealing intellectual property they are in the clear with their original work. These are vampires who are maneuvering plots that we do not know the extent of yet. Are there typos? Yes. Will they be fixed? Yes. Do I work for them? No. I am a patron and an interested fan.

For those of you not enjoying it, I do not know what to say that I have not said above. It is not ever going to be Hentai or Anime. It is not a porn novel. You do not have to wait years for an update (looking at you ICSTOR), or even in Dr. Pinkcake's case 5-6 months. It is not the same thing. While both of those developers have their loyal followers, so do LikesBlondes and Ptolemy. Different strokes for different folks!

Not only about C and temple also about VG and even quite a bit more about her as I expected, that second name Frank asked them about is a real major one if you are a bit into mythology and also goes back to Sumerians as Inanna does, well looks like Arigon was both right a bit and a bit wrong in what he took away from what dev told him. Edit: Will get back to that in a few days if nobody else does first, I can say there is also another Son important there if in an opposite role as in C myths.

Thing is they are slowly starting to disclose what is going on and Frank is the Frank that was digging for something, mentioned by Merrick in chapter 1.

Not suspicious at all he volunteered to come to Scotsdale. A lot happened this episode even if it was still cryptic and more hints of the buildup instead of the direct action and heavy moving forward some wanted. Well at least we were more or less promised a sex scene with Sharon next update if the blood doll MC ordered pans out and will not be a different surprise.

This wasn't much of a erotic game in the first place which was okay because it was interesting. But nothing interisting has happened in so long. They mise well not even be vampires, hardly any vap stuff goes on, just bla bla bla. Lately its just a boring game with no sex.
And they paid a 'boon' to listen to those two idiots argue, that was pointless and just made them look stupid for paying for that.

So in summary the last few updates are boring, filler material, no vampire action, and no sex.

I bet I can tell you what the next update in this epic vampire game is going to be it's going to be us sitting down and talking to the mayor no wait it's going to be us preparing to have a meeting where we go and talk to the mayor

and this in the next update of this exciting vampire story we're opening a nightclub so somebody's got to do the paperwork

and then at the very end of the update the MC is going to have an exciting Vision that goes nowhere

does everybody remember Sharon's investiture

the developer made it look like shit was going to go down but nothing happened shit didn't even come up

don't misunderstand me I love the game I just wanted the game I started in ep1 where it was full of an exciting World of Vampires and Supernatural

It's very simple.
If this game is inspired by WOD. And by all acounts it is. The focus is and will be on vamp politics and mystery. Not fighting and being a badass. It caters to that audience. If you want Blade, I don't think this is for you.
I'm more of a Monster of the Week player than a WOD player. But both will work for me.

They gave us no information about Callisto and the Temple, the only thing we got form them is that they know they exist. Nothing else, but we already know that they exist, its not what we need.

Also, since what happened in the hospital, we have done nothing to discover what happened nwith Merrick or what was that thin that was there that wasnt instigated by Marcus demanding action from us. If Marcus didnt make those demands, we wouldnt have moved a single finger, which is stupid.

Nothing of significance has happened in the last 2-3 updates. Because us knowing that the scalds know of the Temple existance is not something of significance

first I would say thank you for replying to my comment means a lot however I don't think it's fair to tell people if you don't like it don't play it just because somebody expressed his problems with the story doesn't mean

they don't like it that's like saying if you're a fan you're not allowed to have

any criticism or any negative comments I may not always agree with someone's comment but I'm always happy to hear it

and speaking for myself I don't really care about sex scenes if the story is good

and I don't know what you mean by anime fight scenes

that's not fair just because we're complaining about the episodes being a little boring doesn't mean we're asking for fight scenes

mc was still showing to be a caring person mc he refused to leave until the ambulance arrived
and he insisted on leaving that boy's body to be found so his family could bury him a person like that would not be okay with blood dolls

Remember even if some things are based on Wod, especially the creation myths and origin of vamps in Rebirth are not, but are their own and VG seems much more related to that as I suspected after those discussions Arigon had with devs. Ayshel may well like the other one referenced, much more chaotic will be hard to find in myth.

You got more as you think about why the Temple exists, just you do not make certain links yet, also the second name mentioned might even be more pertinent as Inanna, she fits VG in a way to a tee. Also remember what they refer Inanna to be with their earlier comments. If interested come back in a few days when we will have some wild speculations about the information revealed and yeah one of my speculations is as wild maybe as the thought Arigon had that Astrid was a male.

Did the skalds give very useful information as such to MC and Sharon, no and as you could see Sharon fully agrees with you on that and certainly not worth a boon. Is that information gold to us as players that were expecting that part of the story might well go that way for a while already, yes. There is heavy foreshadowing there of the plot of the game and likely role of some major players with still a lot of veils and even a bit of cloak and dagger misdirection I suspect.

Also do not think the visit to with distraction and answer you gave Markus during that visit is without reason, nor the entrance of Frank in Scotsdale, there is both a tie in with main story and possibly a side line as well about the Nos beyond Merrick. Markus is courting/testing MC for a reason and what he is testing for is the big question.

Now the Malia/Cassandra visit was harder to place in a story sense beyond just acquiring the doll and what will be later meaning of that. There seems to be a sideline there which may or may not be connected to main fight or may be more connected to a Carrmen or Laurie storyline and takeover of Scotsdale as main story per se, which until now is not the most exciting part of the game agreed with those meetings with police officer and such. No idea yet where that will go and if will get more interesting.

For the people complaining MC lost his HUMANITY. You make the choices, So you have lost his humanity. You could have left the girl alone in the Club.

And for the other people complaining about we get no action. We are just a little over half of all the episodes. I never started a book were we are literally thrown in to action right at start. Comic books yes but this is not written as a comic book we soon have all the action we want

About the rest of the update Frank was a pleasant surprise. I thought it was just a bit filler for episode 2 when talking about Mc's visions. And now it makes more sense to me that the vision, MC has were MC is scared is an ancient Nos. Frank suddenly joining us. Him telling us he is literally going for a dig. Tells me Merrick probably got called by the ancient and needs more food to properly awaken. While Markus tells us Merrick is still alive Merrick could have just been used as bait

Overall i really enjoyed the update
