Another just meh Update. Would really hope that it finally starting to show more vamp action instead of to much nonsense. It´s almost as boring as LwM was after some time.

basically this Update felt like anime filler

and don't get me started on the scribes

we go to them for information and the scribes
just spent a majority of the time arguing with each other and they tell us a whole bunch of nothing

and was I the only one who wanted to kill that one scribe

this update taught us nothing it did not progress the story and Sharon and the mc relationship went nowhere so basically this update was a waste of time and completely pointless

wait I'm wrong this update did accomplish something it reset all my stats

well, I'm the kind of guy who doesn't mind waiting for sex scenes as long as the story is good but the story is going nowhere.

basically, everything boils down to the same thing

which is basically a bunch of people standing around talking which is not necessarily a bad thing but that all they do what's the point of having all these stats if we never use them

I can't start the Episode 3..
It's saying that I need to play episode 2 first. When I played EP2 it doesn't showed save option at the end of the game like it did for EP1. Now I'm stuck after playing EP2.. is there any fix for this? I used one fix but it didn't worked at all. This is very frustrating.

Get the Save Transfer fix from the op and replay ep2 or try to load a savegame before the end of ep2

This wasn't much of a erotic game in the first place which was okay because it was interesting. But nothing interisting has happened in so long. They mise well not even be vampires, hardly any vap stuff goes on, just bla bla bla. Lately its just a boring game with no sex.
And they paid a 'boon' to listen to those two idiots argue, that was pointless and just made them look stupid for paying for that.

So in summary the last few updates are boring, filler material, no vampire action, and no sex.

Haven't played this game for a while guess forgot to unwatch. Impotence in a porn game is like being a Protestant Pope. But the main reason I deleted it was that god awful (pretty hidden) sex scene. That was some 2016 amateur level.

I guess the impotence will eventually be "fixed"

I was fine with almost no lewd scenes while the story was interesting. But the last couple of updates had nothing in terms of story, nothing in terms of lewdness, and nothing in terms of vampire progression.

Its like the Dev is trying to inflate the story by making episodes with nothing happening

I honestly wish for more storyline since the plot is interesting (even tho less sex scene). Guess gonna wait until the whole season(?) finished then play it. Just sad that the plot didn't move much in this recent update. And well... No sex scene.

I really like the game.
I'm not really a vampire story fan, but this story is really exciting and I look forward to every update. What I personally don't like is the relationship between the MC and Lauri. I think he doesn't treat her very well and doesn't really appreciate her. He is to blame for her condition, but treats her almost like dirt.
I think she deserves better.....

Honestly, the writing is really bad in this update. It looks like the devs didn't even bother with proofreading. That, the lack of story progression and the mostly dark renders make the game look a bit amateurish, tbh.

Well the skalds told you one or two very important thing with those myths for the story, even if MC may not be aware of that. Yeah in a way that segment was more useful for the players that know more as for MC, was nice to see that Sharon at least once was more open to the unseen and just became jaded since it did not knock on her door. Is she in for a surprise or two. Too early to discuss though with update out less as a day. We were it seems very wrong about one thing though.

I don't know, everything has been too cryptic for my taste. Writer throws around some ancient names here and there for players to speculate.

au contraire! the scalds gave us informations about Callisto and the temple, notice how the cool scald refused to answer if he knows her, yet at the end mentions a "she" when talking about wine. and he confirmed MC's visions to be real gifts, unlike what Sharon believed till now.

Not only about C and temple also about VG and even quite a bit more about her as I expected, that second name Frank asked them about is a real major one if you are a bit into mythology and also goes back to Sumerians as Inanna does, well looks like Arigon was both right a bit and a bit wrong in what he took away from what dev told him. Edit: Arigon Will get back to that in a few days if nobody else does first, I can say there is also another Son important there if in an opposite role as in C myths.

Thing is they are slowly starting to disclose what is going on and Frank is the Frank that was digging for something, mentioned by Merrick in chapter 1.

Not suspicious at all he volunteered to come to Scotsdale. A lot happened this episode even if it was still cryptic and more hints of the buildup instead of the direct action and heavy moving forward some wanted. Well at least we were more or less promised a sex scene with Sharon next update if the blood doll MC ordered pans out and will not be a different surprise.

I was actually hoping for something like Angel or Constantine for the storyline. But it does really reminded me of Dylan Dog.

Couple of thoughts from reading some of the above comments.
1- This is not a sex game. Waiting for sex is going to frustrate you. The author has stated there is one significant sex scene coming. One for sure. That is all that is for sure. This is not a sex game..so please keep that in mind.

2-This is not Underworld. This is not a vampire action anime. This is about the development of the plot, until we reach an inevitable boiling point. Violence in this is brutal and final and puts an end to hundreds or thousands of years of existence. That is not a cartoony subject, which most of the anime vampire non stories are. So please keep that in mind.

3- This episode contained quite a bit, which would mean a lot to those of you who are reading this for more than fap-fu or anime Vamp-fu. There is intrigue that is building. Yes we are at the half way chapter, so no doubt this is going to have some things going on. We had an enormous amount of things revealed even if you do not see it your first time through.

4-Someone expressed a problem with the MC using Silent Whispers on the potential blood doll. That he was human not long ago. While I agree with the statement he was human not long ago, he is very non human now. More so than Sharon, who has had 70 years to lose it, and yet holds tightly. The blood coursing sluggishly through the MC's veins is so much different than anything we know in real life, but the fiction gives it a power and strength that is unimaginable. 5- Stats reset.... hum. Mine at the end of this are Stealth-25, Charisma-32, Prowess-30 and I possibly missed something on this play through. I can not digest the stat reset without seeing your save game file and if you are using a bootleg mod to cheat or something.

6- Guys and ladies. Someone above stated blah blah blah, maybe set within a certain set of rules blah blah blah. To be clear, the authors have their own system if you will, and their own mythology, but it is definitely inspired and influenced by Vampire the Masquerade. The authors have both expressed their admiration for that work, cited it as inspiration, and as they are not stealing intellectual property they are in the clear with their original work. These are vampires who are maneuvering plots that we do not know the extent of yet. Are there typos? Yes. Will they be fixed? Yes. Do I work for them? No. I am a patron and an interested fan.

For those of you not enjoying it, I do not know what to say that I have not said above. It is not ever going to be Hentai or Anime. It is not a porn novel. You do not have to wait years for an update (looking at you ICSTOR), or even in Dr. Pinkcake's case 5-6 months. It is not the same thing. While both of those developers have their loyal followers, so do LikesBlondes and Ptolemy. Different strokes for different folks!
