Do not underestimate those skalds when it comes to knowledge, though power wise they may not count for much. Just they do not answer directly or what you think they do and yeah that bickering and giving pertinent and completely opposing information was great way of dev to hide that info they did give. Now it will become truly interesting if C opens up and shares some as well, but somehow I suspect she will keep 90% behind for her reasons (read devs for C).

Everyone knows vampires are already dead. No one "forgot a small point" if it's a given fact. There's no need to specifically state it, since it's something well-known. Do you make sure to include "I am a user of F95" with every post? Seems silly.

Yes; each episode should be stored on your machine like a separate game. This, for instance, is how it looks on my computer:


Use the SPOILER on the OP (original post of this thread) to see links available. The links under Episode 1 are for the entire episode, including all updates. When finishing Episode 1, you'll be asked to create a save state; be sure to remember the name of it. Do that and then install Episode 2 in a separate folder; links for Episode 2 on the OP are for the entirety of that second episode.

When starting Episode 2, choose the Start option from the main menu. You'll be shown any save states (you can have multiple, if you did multiple playthroughs of Episode 1); choose the save state that matches the playthrough from Episode 1 that you want to continue. At the end of Episode 2, you'll create a save state again.

Episode 3 will go the same way as Episode 2. The links on the OP for Episode 3 are through the latest update, but this third episode isn't finished yet (we're on Update 8 so far), so at the end of current content, you'll save like you normally would (i.e., not do a save state).

more speculation about the rescal variable. By how it's written, it doesn't look like a path trigger, and it doesn't seem to negatively affect the relatinship with Calisto. So my guess is that the variable is a counter for how capable of resisting Calisto's orders the MC is. a willpower stat so to speak. and if players are hostile to Calisto, she might order MC to do something and depending on how high this variable is, would decide if MC resists the order, obeys or refuses.

The problem is that having those stats be really meaningful in game already now for stats like that, means diverging paths and just too much work for the devs or super short updates depending on your path and that while we are about halfway or just past. The double edged sword of meaningful choices in a game, so expect those changes to likely only come to fruition against end of game.

Yeah a textual difference or two with same renders is extra coding work but doable if not too much of them, when you have a completely different branch with also separate renders and basically a differently acting Laurie, that gets way more work and that for every future time she is shown in game.

To be honest, no clue and on what paths certain choices will have an impact. For as far as we know sharonsaveslaurie however high or low might never get triggered if you are on a Laurieslave path and only on Laurieslovers or other way around (just an example, I have no more info as you).
