Carmen, yeah you are right, but of course she also had some reasonable good reasons when we remember MC is a vampire and the price she will pay for her actions will be high anyway as she is coming to realize in last episodes, death, thrall, blood doll or vampire seem her only options and well none seem very good for a hunter. So no worries she is not getting off lightly.

Though you are right, still the fact remains she was an enemy and would have helped to get MC killed if he either had not saved himself or Andrew did if made different choices on prowess. Good intentions are nice up to a point, but in the end actions matters most. The fact she did try to deescalate is a reason I myself chose to act reasonably nice to Carmen as well, but I get Jake's point and why he did not. I am a sucker for cute brunettes in the end.

No you will have three separate games, that together make up the whole game. Episode 1, 2 and 3. There will also be an episode 4 and 5. Each episode is a game that stands on its own with continuing story, with the option to import a save state from former Episode.

I read both, it was no bother. It does answer the question though. It's not worth the time for a minority of pirates to make another version.

Well, to be fair, "why" in vernacular English can imply (although it doesn't always) a person is complaining. When someone asks, "Why does she always have to chew with her mouth open?" that isn't being used to actually ask for a reason; it's being said to complain about her bad habit. I understand that you may not have meant it that way, but IJS that it's easy to misunderstand your meaning when it's only text on a forum.

Haha, no reason at all to apologize. I don't think there's any problem at all. I was just trying to help clarify, since it's easy to take something the wrong way when you only read a message, especially on a forum like F95. Yes, it's an English-language forum, but there are many here for whom English is not their birth language. There are also problems with not hearing a person's tone, which means they cannot always identify sarcasm or similar idiosyncrasies that are key to communication.

Text has always been limited in its capacity to convey meaning, which is why writers will add description to a character's dialogue. For example:

Jason huffed in frustration. "So what are you saying?"​

As a reader, you likely would not understand the frustration or growing anxiety of Jason if the writer only included "So what are you saying?" during the scene. This lack of understanding has been a problem since Neanderthals scratched on cave walls long ago. And, of course, in modern times people will sometimes use fake tags to indicate feeling, like [SARCASM] or something. But you get the idea and I'm sure have seen this problem online before.

Regardless of the moot discussion of the tags, as the tag are defined according to the definition and not according to our own beliefs, the game have 3 sex scene in total. If this are to few, then this game isn't the typ of game for you.

Also for The Bite: Revenan it goes a different way, have a lot of potential, but can fail to deliver as a lot of other games have done after their initial good premise. Additional the whole I'm the vampire overgood premise, at least this is what I think it is, can be rather uninteresting, if the MC is an overpower badass right from the beginning.

On the one hand, I agree with you, on the other hand, it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with "newbie".... Much more I think it's pure expectation and a matter of personal taste. (Probably it also has VERY much to do with what has been consumed so far)
For my part, I enjoy the setting, the entire story just far too much to even wonder about apparently missing sexual content. I honestly didn't even notice that there was hardly any sex. The constant teasing and innuendo plus my imagination was quite enough

I'm more "bothered" by other things for my personal expectations:
- MC uses his genius skills much too rarely
- Laurie is simply much too little obedient (yes, I am on the "love path")
- MC just needs a much stronger sex drive
- The whole part "need tons of blood to have a boner"
- Sharon should grow some ears (with the insight to listen)

And all the theories about Sharon's and/or some of the girls' deaths make me fear and diminish my personal hopes more and more....

But as already said, these are all in each case own tastes, expectations and sometimes too much YouPorn consumption

The content written and shown so far should justify enough trust in the makers of this really good VN, or not?

1. I wouldn't consider the episode 1 (blurry, transformation) encounter with Callisto turning MC into a bloodsucker out of boredom, as a sex scene.




2. There're only "TWO" sex scene (penetration involved) in total up till now, one of those is "random" and most likely to be missed if not using more than just original game mechanics. This happens only if you have enough points to unlock mind control ability "Whisper" beforehand, using it for sex with Police woman later.


3. The 2nd sex scene is quite obviously for everyone who kept Carmen as (Not Just Food) Carmen during feeding scenes, so she welcomes penetration while in bathroom.

Edit : Moreover, if playing original game version you've most likely seen only one (Carmen) sex scene, due to excessive random execution of code design (ability unlock).
