For basketball, average height can be an advantage for a position like playmaker because they are required to be flexible and agile since u are basically main ball handler.

Thanks, that helps my point. Muggsey Bogues is the smallest point guard in the NBA. The exceedingly rare exception proves the rule. There are several references you could look up, but most of them agree with the average height in the NBA holding steady at around 6'6". From just one of those:

In 1952, the average height was 6’4”. It changed to 6’7” in 1987. Although the average height decreased a little in the subsequent years, it’s still taller than it used to be back then.

Right now, the average height of NBA players is 6’6”.

The average height of a man in North America is around 5'9". That is exactly 3/4 of a foot difference which is so far outside of the bell curve in comparison as to be off the visible chart.

But, this is all besides the point. The character in this game could be a point guard, but they average around 6' to 6'3". The guy in this game could possibly be 6', but most of the angles and scenes he is in seem to indicate that would be maybe the max. If that is accurate it would probably be at least mentioned that he was really good for being as short as he was, or that he specifically played point guard. I didn't see anything in the story about that though (could have missed it, to be sure).

I was just curious if there were limitations to what the dev had to work with and it wasn't a decision made for some other reason.

We are expected to believe that your 18+ year old sister/friend/roomate with arm sleeve tattoos is a virgin who hasn't had her first kiss yet on this site all the time. It wouldn't that much of a stretch to assume the dev expects us to make almost as much of a wild suspension of disbelief that this guy had played in the NFL at his height. I don't like either expectation, as they are both ridiculous.

It has nothing to do with the limitations of the assets or software. The developer is fully capable of resizing a 3D male model to make him taller and resizing a female 3D model to make them shorter. Part of the problem is that many of the female models created for DAZ are extremely tall. Victoria 8 has had much discussion about the fact that the model stands 6' (183 cm) tall. There is nothing wrong with selling a model like this as it's better to shrink a character than it is to expand a character if you want to keep all the texture maps looking their best.

Unfortunately, most developers with games here on F95 are amateurs who haven't put enough thought into their character designs. There are a multitude of games with the females towering over the males because the developer didn't bother to put in enough effort. This game just makes it more obvious because you would expect the MC be taller as a professional basketball player.

I understand your perspective, but you have to understand where the wife is coming from too, I think. You knocked up another woman a month after you were separated from her, and she's never been able to get over it, for better or worse. Obviously, she's tried to suck it up since you been married since then but your son and baby's mother are back as a constant reminder of what happened, so she did something drastic to try and put her mind at ease.

Like I said, You may not agree with what she's doing but you do have to understand the person you love having a child with someone else is some tough shit to deal with

That's the type of behavior one usually sees in ntr MCs and this is not this type of game.

I was planning for MC to completely ignore both of these walking red flags (wife,ex) on that trip and go hang with someone else, but this seems doubtful the way this is going.

I'm not sure I understand why you're calling the wife a cunt. The wife takes you back after you get your best friend pregnant... and that's it. She never retaliated or did anything else that interfered with your relationship with your kid or baby's mother (at least nothing that's been mentioned in the story so far). I think you're misunderstanding something. The premise of this game in terms of the harem and you dating other women is you getting your best friend pregnant and your wife being so insecure about that that she is willing to let you go explore and now you are on your journey with that and then you coming to a decision.

I was positive with her before her decision to bail. Maybe it tracks choices before that point too? Basically the way I was playing him was all about being a loving husband until her ultimatum. Then went distant in all choices after that.
