I find this amusing. That we are all here, waiting, waiting, for this Dev to troll us with this game.
The MC is an empty bag. He's... well... nothing.
His Girlfriend, she's given up on him. Why she doesn't leave, is beyond me.
His Friend that is a Girl, well, she could be interesting if she ever bags the Girlfriend, they are both heading there.
But, when you put it all together, it is 0 + 0 + 0, none of them have anything. Must they have? Probably not, maybe, maybe not...

TBH, the most entertaining character so far was the student's mother. Also a Zero, but at least with "some" zest.

Played both the Diana & Chris paths, and they both seem to converge in this update.
Chris' "i want to own you" handjob happens on both routes, and on both routes the MC says Diana has been very good to him, even when she emasculated him earlier, and he's sleeping alone on the floor thanks to a drunk Chris.
I'm starting to get "Moving Down" vibes from this story. How many updates will it take for both women to entirely subjugate and emasculate this MC? I'm not even saying he wouldn't deserve the treatment; he's obviously in need of a heavy hand and guidance.

That or adding text outlines, which is my personal preference. A drop-shadow would only cover that side of the text where it's placed. If there's the white wall of a room behind a character, the reverse side of the text would still be blended in. And, ofc, making the background of the textbox something other than transparent could also work (but is the least desirable option IMO).
If there are choices but they don't matter it should get the Kinetic Novel tag. This is getting to be one that should get a new "blueballing" tag.

The scene with Chris felt really forced imo, zero romance or anything, that she was completely shit faced didn't make it better.
But yeah, both of the girls seem to enjoy emasculating him.
I mean, he is what he is, so i don't feel really sorry him, but the scene where he must sleep on the floor like a dog while the girls were sleeping in a bed which could fit 4 was kinda fitting, or that they don't even bother to wake him up for breakfast...
Beside that Chris and Diana seem to have a way better chemistry going on than either of them with the MC, even if your not on the threesome path.
I think at this point the most fitting ending would be the girls being together, leaving the MC and i'm not even in that kind of content...
Beside that, there were only 3 dinner scenes and 1 1/2 sleeping scenes this time, the good stuff you know, surprisingly still more interesting than looking at random buildings and talking about how they are out of stone or watching 'mold' in a museum

If you're somewhat patient with Diana in the early game, then she'll sleep on the floor with him. Still as silly though, because you're right that the bed is more than large enough.
That "the event" happens on both of my saves where I made all the opposing decisions is a letdown.
I think they'll keep him as a pet. Maybe he'll get a nice mat or a cage in front of the bed where he can sit and watch them enjoy themselves.

And when they were going to the red light district, we finally had an opportunity to see some playfulness and chemistry between the MC and Diana, but it just became an opportunity for them to make fun of him. The romance tag would have made far more sense if one of the girls were the main character because he feels like a third wheel in his own game.

That's been my problem with this and the last game.
Their first game was great. The mc still didn't have the most open of personalities but it worked because all the characters at least had chemistry. The relationships worked.
The mc in the second was just too bland, I didn't click at all with him but i'm female so that may be a me issue, I just didn't feel any chemistry with him and the girls but it still kinda worked.
This just feels like people going through the motions but don't want to interact with him. The 2 girls together are great, they seem like they have fun together and enjoy the company but as soon as he speaks up it all goes mechanical.
Like, the first game the relationships worked with all the main girls. They felt like they had feelings for each other. It was believable.
While I didn't quite get the MC or the romance side of the second game, the sub/dom games with one of the main li's did work well. That I got.
I don't feel anything between the mc and his girlfriend in this. There isn't a single second of romance. It barely goes above tolerance.
I don't know if the writer has changed or if the first game was just a fluke but something needs to give in this game because what's going on isn't working.
I know I should avoid the game and it seems like i hate it but I really like the 2 main girls, I want it to click in place but so far it hasn't.
It's not like they can't make a good throuple relationship. There is one in the first game and it's great.
With how open and fun one of the girls is in this it should be easy, she carries most scenes she's in on her own and that is this games biggest downside.
The main character doesn't feel like the main character.

I agree, up to a point. HS was flawed as well, and its MC often came across as a wet blanket. He had many of the same flaws as this one has, like rarely standing up for himself or putting his foot down. Though with it being Haley's story, it was more fitting that she wore the pants. Personally, the whole SA/grooming thing left a bitter taste, but I'm also aware of certain difficulties during development that might've impacted that storyline.
As for its relationships... I wasn't a fan. If memory serves, the MC/player gets forced into a relationship, which poisoned me against that LI. Being able to break up with her later was fine, but in practice we were already cheating on her.
One thing I have to grant it is that I still remember this game, which I can't say for his 2nd one.
Exactly. Other people have said this as well. It makes players wonder why they're still together. It's not even a relationship of convenience, because the MC hardly pulls his weight. And it's easy to see how they got in this situation. Diana likely felt that the MC wasn't putting in enough effort and withdrew intimacy, which frustrated the MC. This is a guy who needs a carrot, external motivation, to put in effort. If it were up to him, he'd happily laze about all day.
A few updates ago I was hoping that Christina would gently coach the MC to step up, to find something that inspired him instead of needing external pressure (Diana nagging, or the promise of sex). At the rate it's going, I doubt we'll get that.
This might depend on what's important to you in a story. Out of his three games so far, I like the MC of his 2nd game more (I skimmed through it to refresh my memory). A struggling artist desperate for inspiration, who is opinionated and driven. He's not a pushover, the opposite of the MCs in his 1st and 3rd games. Also striking is that this 2nd game had many fewer choices, which (I assume) allowed the dev to not write him as a wet blanket blank slate.
At the rate it's going, I can't see how a throuple could be a believable result of the current situation. In the 1st game, the MC had a 'good' relationship with two women, albeit while cheating. This required a single act of forgiveness when the truth came out. But with the baggage between the MC and Diana, I just can't imagine this result. At this point, if Chris wants him all to herself, then she can easily blow up his relationship with a few remarks.
Not only does the main character not feel like a main character, but the relationship doesn't feel like a main character either. If you show someone a bit of dialogue without context, they wouldn't be able to tell if the MC is in a relationship with anyone.
A piece of dating advice I've often seen is to look at how a date treats others. Chris witnesses what an uninspired dumbass the MC is... Why does she still want him? I wouldn't even want to be friends with the guy.
