The disadvantage of AI generated images is that they are not copyright protected. You can make your game with the images, even sell them on Patreon, but you have no rights if someone comes and copies your images. This someone then of course also has no rights if something is stolen from his game again.

This is the only difference why normal artwork is better than AI artwork. You have more legal possibilities to act against the theft of the images. But if an image has no copyright as it is the case with AIs, then you can not take legal action against it.

For this game you can say that Dark Cookie probably has all the rights to take action against these artworks. Because Dark Cookie still draws completely by himself, ergo the copyright on his pictures lies with him and actually not everyone is allowed to use them.

I mean honestly, I'm not too put off by this AI art than the usual anime style ones we get.

But from what the comments are suggesting, I sincerely hope this story isn't just a carbon copy of Summertime Saga.

Considering the similarities to summertime saga, any potential supporters should be careful not to spend their time, money, or interest, at least until dev gives real worthwhile content. Just to avoid any possible grab the money and run scenarios.

It may not be as straightforward as some people may think, but it's certainly easier than learning how to draw your own style and actully drawing. Otherwise, why would you opt into AI generated art which people can easily detect because it has a certain look to it. Sure you can pump out more images than real human art but it usually lacks a distinct style and therefore looks souless. It at least needs a good story because the art can often get too repetitive. Let's not try to pretend that AI art takes a comparable amount of skill/time to human art.

Looks pretty much the same to me to be honest. Most images on this site make women look like sex dolls and not like people. Does it matter if it's 3D or 2D, when in the end if they both looks like sex dolls? Personally I find this art generic, regardless if AI did it or it would be 3D.

I'm probably a minority about that, but at my age I appreciate nuance more the flashiness. The HUGE boobs read to me as a gimmick, just like incest, and it's a crutch. Can a game be good using a gimmick? Yeah, but something else in the package has to carry it. Gimmicks only get people in the door.

What makes Summertime Saga good isn't the art... IMO it's art is actually bad. What makes that game good is the quirky writing.

I got an amazing idea. I look at top 10 popular games on this website. Run all the pics through an AI and recreate the exact same game with all the writing copypasted. I make up 10 different names, with 10 different patreons. Easiest money of my life.

Well, if it is an AI work its a good work. Doesn't matter for if it was taken from Summer Saga. However, will there be more explicit sex scenes?

I have played with AI art... It's HARD to get proper sex images. Especially if you are trying to use a Lora to make all the images consistent.

I'm not an expert, but I tried pretty hard and couldn't really do it.

There are many different types of LLM. One of the most flexible LLM for porn is called Stable Diffusion, as long as it's base is 1.5. Newer base models are censured. There are many ways to run it, personally I run it locally since I have a good graphics card.

Not sure if I missed anything. All I did was lockpicking a lock, getting a BJ from one of the twins and that´s pretty much it. If the game happens to be continued and content is getting added, then there needs to be a questlog and a rollback function would be helpful.

Can you post a picture of the BJ scene? Games made with AI don't have the most enticing and good looking sex scenes.
