Dev if you are still having issue with the android version, I recommend looking at how Pale Carnations solved it. Essentially doing a built without the pak and supplying seperate. Not sure which version of renpy you need for that.
Just want to say it is a great game for a first time. Keep up the good work. One thing you might consider is to have a gallery so players can replay the sex scenes.

Sorry to ask but do we really need an update? I'm not a modder, but looking at the iPatch, all it does is change some names, so that the word step is not used. So I was wondering, if there really is a need for an update. But since I haven't tried the iPatch on this new version yet, I can't say much. In that case, please update the iPatch if you can. For now I'll try to see if the iPatch works. First I'll download the new version of the game and then if I have time I'll try the game with the iPatch.

looked at the code, this mod is universal. it ovewrites a function that is called by the engine after each text line, this function is native to renpy aka the engine therefore works for all versions. the only case this needs to be updated is when a new family member is introduced

That's what I thought before, too, when I saw that all it did was change the wording of the names. I just didn't know how patches work, so I didn't understand if it was universal or not. In theory, it should work with all the characters listed in the patch? The only thing that might not work is, as you say, "if" there is a new family member to add?

I tried to replay from the beginning, because I had partially forgotten the plot.
So I inserted the iPatch and as I suspected, i don't see any problems so far.
The iPatch works correctly. The only problem I find is that... I'm starting to wonder if the iPatch was really necessary.
I mean, I'll explain, the game opens with the MC explaining that his father is dead and that he is "forced" to live with his mother and sister. This is because the mother somehow managed to obtain the inheritance from the MC's father.
And the MC complains about this. Because the inheritance was rightfully his. And here I think to myself, that this is out of place. Because by right, all the father's properties automatically pass to the wife (MC mother), the son or daughter should only come into possession of them upon the death of both parents.
Besides, why would the mother (a bioligically mother) want to fire her son or kick him out of the house? Unless she's mentally unstable.
It's clear as day that the plot was created with a stepmother in mind. Who doesn't want to lose money, house and all the luxuries that come with the death of her husband, who obviously will have registered everything in the name of his biological son. And that for some strange reason, the stepmother managed to obtain through deception.
The iPatch certainly works, since it excellently replaces stepmother with mother and stepsister with sister who also here... is full of holes. Since the MC says that she is not his father's daughter. But she is not even the mother's daughter. But that the mother brought home one day. So it shouldn't be the mother's daughter or the stepmother's daughter either.
So once again, replacing stepsister with sister doesn't work here either
Unless there is a real rewrite of the intro or the presentation of the characters. I don't know how much using the iPatch is good here. I just can't understand why the MC gets angry and wants his father/mother's inheritance or as I was saying, why his mother wants to throw him out of the house and the company? If he were the woman's real son, she would never kick him out of the house or the company. Unless she is mentally unstable or a more extreme example: she is strongly coerced by another man into throwing her son out of the house. So that he would come into possession not only of the woman but also of her money and company. At this point I wonder, what were the NTR elements removed from the plot. (Thank God NTR was removed, I just can't stand the genre).
Ayway, this is the first time I'm in conflict, whether to use the iPatch or not, just because I love incest fetish

Ok, after my last post, I tried restarting the game from scratch and in this case, I didn't use the iPatch.
Initially the game seemed much more consistent with itself. Stepmother and stepsister, they seemed to be in their roles.
That is until... I got to the first sex scene with the stepsister. Who kept saying, we are family, and we are sibling, this is wrong. So again this time the stepsister confused me quite a bit. Most likely as it happens lately the real problem is patreon. Which once again puts pressure on the developer's writing. Most likely the game was initially based seriously on the biological family, but keeping in mind the patreon restrictions, the developer must have changed their mind and changed the plot. Leaving some traces in the plot. Because it really seems that the stepsister sees him as the real brother and that they are part of the same family. By the way the MC clearly says I don't care, when she tells him that they are siblings, after as we know, the MC tries to turn back time, failing because a few hours before he had already used the ability to turn back time. More and more curious to understand what the real plot was now. Too bad that developers find themselves with their backs to the wall with patreon. Too bad that there is no real alternative to patreon. Even if he could have created the game, using a relationship system. In that case the plot would have adapted without problems. I think that is the only real way, for a developer to be able to create on patreon and let the players decide how to move in the plot. So perhaps the iPatch is correct to use? This is universal so one of its upsides is that it doesn’t really need updates unless new step-people are added. It also works with other games. Anyway, thanks for using my patch!
I actually added the patch before playing the game since someone asked for it. After trying it myself I realized the beginning didn’t completely make sense just like you pointed out. This is my second or third iteration of my very first patch which I originally built using a tutorial for another game. I’ve streamlined the code a bit in the later versions compared to how it started. Since I’m still new to all this my goal at the time was just to make a universal patch. That siad there are ways to fix the discrepancies and make the story make more sense in the patch like using the wholeLineChg code. As far as I know there are two spots where the iPatch doesn’t make sense in text and the big one is when MC is thinking about the sister not being the dad’s kid. If people want I could fix that by changing the line: "She’s not my dad’s kid, just some bastard my mother brought into this family." to "She’s always sided with mom while I sided with dad when they fought." This would make the story make a bit more sense. Im open to any ideas in making the game make more sense with the patch and if you find any bug please point them out.
