I tried this game previously and for some reason unlike other rpgm style the keyboard button that's normally done to save progress wasn't working. How are players to save their progress?
I really hope we can pick and choose what we want to do and maybe, just maybe this even influences how MC acts and thinks. I hope we don't get railroaded with mandatory scenes, even though so far the author hits my own personal taste with feet, lesbian and bestialityi think you can, infact most of the fmc scene are lesbian (with her cousin). just avoid any choice that will lead to fmc have sex with a male.... or animal
Ma boi here is in for the plot while the other wants more piss though thats a good pointI was lured in by the banner art but the actual art in game is what you see in the screenshots. Which isn't bad but it has this apparent stiffness to it. It's better than yet another generic 3DCG project, at least.
But the writing, the most important part of a game with so much text, is excruciating. All of the dialogue is so awkward, with characters always telling each other things they already know, have already said or should have already discussed. It's the worst version of expository dialogue. So much of the dialogue should have been either cut or done as flashbacks and narration.
The result is that I don't believe in any of the relationships the characters may have: most importantly Kate and Linda. I'm told by the incessant exposition that they're close but I never feel it.
When the dialogue finally stops spewing exposition at me and has a chance to actually have the characters act as themselves, they act bizarrely anyway. When Kate's brother acts like a massive jerk to Linda and she runs away from the room, Kate doesn't chastise her brother and is immediately back smiling and talking normally about something else entirely.
Bitch, he just made your almost-girlfriend upset and you act like she doesn't even exist as soon as she leaves the room? Who are you? The exposition said you cared about her!
That's just one example of many. The characters all act and speak like they're aliens.
So when sex starts randomly happening without any reason I'm not into it. And, once again, the dialogue during sex scenes is painful.
This is RPG Maker where the gameplay amounts to "run here, talk to person, run there, pick up item, repeat" until there are battles with rats in a tunnel maze... and this is where I quit. I was already bored of walking around but this generic battle system with currently nothing to it other than a basic attack killed what little remained of my patience.
So maybe immediately after that tunnel the writing becomes competent and emotional and the gameplay gets really engaging and exciting. I'm not sticking around to find out.

When 95% of it is plot, yes, I will criticize the plot.Ma boi here is in for the plot while the other wants more piss though thats a good point
I think the pregnancy sex is planned, as there is already a section for it in the in-game gallery, albeit still empty at the moment.Hey ILS, just a quick question, any chance for pregnancy? It would be awesome to fuck these cuties with pregnant bellies.
The battle in the basement came out of nowhere and seems completely tacked on, as this is clearly meant to be a VN type of name. However, it helped to draw the scrnario much more fantasy-like and the resolution afterwards is just that:I was lured in by the banner art but the actual art in game is what you see in the screenshots. Interesting statement, yet... that begs the question: Why wave around your earnings like that? I don't mean any disrespect, but waving those numbers around screams that you are trying to justify something.Yep, thanks for the heads-up. I reported the 1 star reviews 'cause they're not really adding anything and now that the prologue's afternoon is available they're outdated.
Those reviews didn't hurt us at all, Vesper got $1k support after a month, this game got $1k200 in 6 days... a lot of people understand that making a game is difficult and takes time.
But, anyway... thanks a lot to everyone, I'm glad a lot of you want to see this game get developed.
replying to a one month chat with a long essay make it like you have a personal hatred to the dev lol.Interesting statement, yet... that begs the question: Why wave around your earnings like that? Like.. let's be real for a minute here, the general consensus of the posts i've seen here, the reviews i've seen here and the content i have played is: This project was released too early, too prematurely and with maybe screenshots of a latter version, or a version that wasn't available to us at release and some of that still isn't. So the claims made here, branding this gamethread as clickbait are more than justified. And the first thing dropped here was the statement of "You want more? Go sub the patreon!"
Sorry what..? Excuse me, but 5 minutes of walking simulator are not really making a strong argument of dumping money on a preview with what feels like 5 minutes of more walking simulation added on top.
You release a techdemo to the public, expect them to pay for the advanced version of it, go around and report 1* reviews, because you feel like they are unjustified and then wave around your earnings on that techdemo to somehow prove it's good...?
For the sake of all the people who subbed the patreon for this, I really hope this game turns out good in the end, so their monetary efforts were worth it, because right now, this is far from being something worth investing money into.
mb for not giving this thread more attention than once in a month at best, what a way to start a response...replying to a one month chat with a long essay make it like you have a personal hatred to the dev lol.
i mean yeah the 0.01 version was basically a tech demo but you can see that everyone who play the newest version or at least 0.05 version like it very much. even after newer version release, some people still gave a 1 star review with a "copy paste" statement, saying there is nothing even thought there are a lot of scene already and same gameplay already present. i mean a lot of RPGM basically a walking simulator, some mixed with some kind of turn based battle or puzzle, pretty sure this one use puzzle.
pretty much every avn or rpgm that release in patreon, subscribestar or itch.io basically "ask" you to pay in advance.... you talk like it is your first day in this kind of area....
i mean, we can take a conclusion that people who play the 0.01 tech demo hate it because lack content, and people who paid or subs and played the 0.1 loved it so much because there are a lot of scene already even it only include the prologue, you can take a guess what that means....
Also "Pretty sure this one use puzzle" - no it doesn't. There is combat, but other than that nothing but walking to X and press to advance.mb for not giving this thread more attention than once in a month at best, what a way to start a response...
I am kind of at a loss at what you are trying to say here. Leaves the impression that you haven't played the game and/or didn't take much look into the reviews really, but eh. In the end all things you say are like a bot wrote it, not engaging with any points i made, just trying to talk down on me, claiming it's my first day in the area. Very constructive and well-thought feedback. /s
You talked so much, but literally said nothing. It reads like the stuff an offended fanboy would write to discredit the criticizing person.
Dude, you basically scroll 2 or 3 page before this mean you intentionally read what all people said in the last 4 page just to "critic" the dev with "demo has too few content" (it was demo what you expect). I do think you gave this thread more attention than you wanna admit.mb for not giving this thread more attention than once in a month at best, what a way to start a response...
