You know, every time I see a Gyu game I always see the pictures and I remember how absolute peak Treasure Hunter Mai is, forgetting everything after that. For some reason I always associate Gyu with others like Cap Sikorsky and d-lis in my mental library of 'h-game devs that are good™ ', all because Mai was so damn peak for its time that the only other games I can remember that was that peak was like Ambrosia or the old acerola games.
Like seriously, Knights of Messiah and Blue Mage Luna weren't 'bad' per se, and I do appreciate how they're trying to have an overarching storyline that's great, but both of those games were such buggy messes that I literally could not stand it.
The thing is, I know exactly what Gyu is trying to do with the whole series thing and I have wasted a small part of my brain matter to remember the disjointed bit of lore admist of all of the fucking. I'm starting to see H-game devs on dlsite trying to bind their games together for like a serious series and all that, which I love.
I've been actively supporting and buying certain games on dlsite that deeply impressed me after I tried them out on F95, mostly ones that aren't slop, hoping that maybe we might get a proper AAA h-game that isn't just another Unity asset flip with a bit of blender thrown in, or another RPGM slop that doesn't even bother to change the fucking UI.
Messiah literally had a fucking memory leak as an RPGM game, ffs. It literally would run fine for 20 min and then suddenly crash. How the fuck do you get a memory leak in an overly-used-because-of-how-stable-and-easy-it-is-to-use-to-the-point-of-being-close-to-slop engine like RPGM?? Like HOW?!
WHY IS IT $50????
So the point I'm trying to make is that I have maintained a general awareness of Gyu's work, and I swear to GOD, that if I run into a bug or a crash within the first 10 minutes of opening this game I will punch my monitor out
EDIT: Alright, played it for a bit, the game is stable and playable. Thanks for the game, OP
