Edit: i've looked into this and why on earth would you lock a file behind having to know backend command prompts for these kinds of programs... in order to simply extract the archive. You also shouldn't say "make sure to read and understand the spoiler" if you're not actually going to provide a means for people to understand how to do this.

After finally extracting the archive... There is no exe file!

the latter being my fault entirely

your archive manager should extract the archive in one step
peazip was suggested to me as a compatible cross platform archive manager, did you try it?
i'm looking into switching to self extracting archives which would hopefully make the process easier

please, if you have a concrete suggestion as to what should be added in the README, i'll be happy to include it!
maybe i should start it with an FAQ section, since there seem to be some common misconceptions

this is an rpgmv game so you will need nwjs to run it
... or the know-how to run it directly in your regular web browser
but i can't help you in that case. you would already know more about it than me.
iirc, there are some threads about the subject on this forum

Hey sorry, didn't meant to come across so aggressive. After 45 minutes of trying to crack this archive open and play the game I was pretty fed up. I did indeed try peazip and it ran into the same issue as zstandard. The archive you've uploaded isn't just a .zstd archive its a tar ztsd which requires some know how of how to use zstandard in command prompt in order to unpack it to either standalone tar or zstd. Perhaps it'd be best to use a tar archive which is more user friendly but also size conscious (not as much as zstandard but, still pretty good).

As for running MV/MZ games via a web browser, that has its own complications and has a lot of dependencies. Doable but, again, not without it's frustrations. I would wager keeping an exe in the archive is a better compromise even when we take space saving into account, considering this is all ultimately for a porn game... People don't wana jump trough whoops for a porn game.

Either way I still do appreciate you attempting to do all this for those who may have less ample HDDs or SSDs to go around. but as said above, probably worth reconsidering the compromises here.

i understand, you don't have to be sorry. that sounds like a very frustrating experience.
my hopes were that the info in the README would be enough for (most) anyone to extract and run the game as easily as it is on my system, but obviously i have failed.
i didn't realize it could be that much of a hassle, so i'll definitely be making some changes

(I won't post the link since I still don't have 3 posts, sorry)

The poster seems to be the same, so I can guess what (likely) happened.

I am not 100% sure which link I used, but I think it was workupload's one. I will try downloading from another link (GOFILE's).

Edit: Nope, same thing. Gofile's link also has Succubus Runa instead of Ren the summoner.

Hey this game still isn't fixed I really want to play so please fix it as soon as you can its a total troll to be given a different game.

its bad enough that the game links have a different game but I just looked up the game and it has its own entirley separate page that recommends this game in similar threads

You know you just have to Report the original post explaining all link are the wrong game and the Super green Uploader put back the good link in less than an hour (like i've done around 40mn ago) .....
The right game is back in all the link (dled & chked myself) !.. (y)
