Found some bug it seems :
- finished the new quest
- went around a bit and ended up going into the casino
-> the moment I entered Mai's quest/world tour started
-> after it finishes I am locked in the cg screen, and instead of the crosshairs I get the little avatar of Ryen, but it doesnt move
-> only way out is to close the screen

I attached a zip with the two automatic saves (where I'm stuck)

GreetZ

PS I hope the new quest gets a continuation, I like the intro setup it is so far :)

Is there a way to easily switch Irinlia from Bad to Good path? Took a quick look in an editor and can't find anything directly label'd "good path" "bad path" for her like some of the other girls.

I made a change, so that this can't happen again.
Do you need the fixed map file to continue something? Or that I fix one of your saves?

I've searched all the houses.
Do I have to talk to an NPC?
No. The gem is in the small wood house, with a "Stranger" guy with green hair. You can get it by interacting with the sparkling book on the table in the top right.
It can only be found after you obtained the thunder gem first, just in case you're missing that step.

I honestly don't like the new shop system. The random nature of the items plus fixed amounts means you need to reset a lot if you want bulk or a specific item which isn't fun and just led me to looking around the map for untouched shops. There's some good content in this update and the one time offers aren't bad, but this seems like fixing something that wasn't broken.

Preventing players from buying items in huge bulks is one of the main intentions behind this change. It makes items more valuable, and gives the player a reason to go back to shops, and check out different stores as well. Items you get from other sources, like chests and quest rewards, also become more valuable.
It's not necessary to have 99 Elixir in your inventory. You only need as many as necessary for whatever you're doing. By having access to unlimited amounts of an item, it's amount in your inventory becomes insignificant and turns it into a skill rather than a consumable. Because part of a consumable is that it's count gets reduced and that it can run out.
Less consumables also means that healers might become more important, and MPs needs to be used more carefully. Since I plan to add more 1-time offers for permanent stat boost, same as the herbalist has now, the party will get a bit stronger, especially in the early phase of the game, to balance things.
I was well aware that this change is something not all players will like, since they're used to the unlimited supply of items in shops in most games, and it hinders what they might want to do.

Thank you for your honest feedback. I hope that I was able to explain you my reasoning, and that you can understand my point of view as the developer a bit better now.

I'll try to keep things short and simple, yet it still might be... quite long. You have been warned.

1. New shopping system.
It feels nice to pick up items from tables and shelves instead of talking to shoopkeeper. It surely put some life to it, but, in my opinion, it's rather a downgrade not worth your time and effort. Either it doesn't show item icons, status effects, statistics and descriptions of items (Potion Shop) which are rather important things to show or it's basically a map of shop with multiple shopping events to check. Which is rather unnecessary work for you to set up and unnecessary walking and checking for a player who just want to buy few items he needs for crafing or sell useless junk from his inventory instead of just talking to people working there. Making a walk around shop would be satisfying if rewarded with option to buy a rather uncommon, rare or epic item, not generic ones.

But I have to agree this system put a limit on how much player can buy, because, let's be honest, gathering gold isn't a huge problem. Making limit on how much player can buy is great idea to balance gameplay, because in order to have enough potions player have to travel around the world. Having 999 of every potions and basically every item in the inventory doesn't feel very RPG'ish, not puting pressure on proper inventory managment during gameplay and battles.
I think with you can put a limit on shop stock without having to make ten shops on one map, thus saving your time and work for more important stuff.

2. Quests.
It would be nice if you could add more detailed descriptions in the quest log or add descriptions with quest advancing, because sometimes it's not helpful at all. Today, for example, I was doing that sword and six gems quest. After buying a gem in jelwery store in central I learned about bandits, but... I had to prepare a dinner, so I turn off the game and went to kitchen. When I wanted to continue the quest I just didn't know where I had to go, because the objective was to "find a gem" and nothing more.

3. Robert The Reminder!

If you plan on making even more "Goldem Trimmed" soldiers you could use , 'cuz she made a log time ago quite nice lookin' helmet. And with few minutes in graphic editor of your choice you can make it look even better.
