I've been using the same save for years before the game even had an army system or updated art, zero issues just copy the save folder to the new game file.

There was a bug in the first upload of the android version, in which the saves didn't work correctly.
For everyone who downloaded the bugged version, please try the new upload 24.12.21 instead:
