RyenSaotome Hello! Started playing the game again since I lost my previous save a couple of years ago. Glad to see you're still around and hope you're doing well.

Well... onto business now:
I'm having some issues with the brexeet islands, I already got the "big" treasures from Shirinsya but my issue is with the puzzles on the islands(which are not in the walkthrough or wiki by the way).

I did the color orbs puzzle for example and it seems to reset each time I go back there from the port. I can get the treasure from the big chest in the Dark cave with holes through which you fall each time I go there. Pretty sure you were supposed to only do them once.

The boulder puzzle seems to be stuck completely, I tried pressing or clicking but nothing is happening as seen in the attachment.

Not sure if it's bugged or I just forgot about some pre-requirements that might have been needed but hope you can take a look. Let me know if you need my save if you're not able to reproduce this on your end.

You need to push the grey boulder to the hexagon to disable the crystal in front of the bridge.

Sidenote: The item you get from the chest at the start allows you to reset the riddle, should you make a mistake and get yourself stuck.

What about the puzzles resetting and treasures respawning? Are they supposed to reset each time you go to them? I could do the bolder puzzle twice. I've picked up the big chest in the dark cave at least 3 times now.

If you ask me now, I'm not sure about it, but I guess when I made the area I thought that would be a good decision.

Ohhh... ok. I thought it might be a bug. It's been a long time and didn't remember it was this way since long ago. Good to know you can farm some good loot around there.

Is this another VN masquerading as a RPGM with a wall of text only for the pay off to be underwhelming with lots of texts again? After playing through a lot of RPGM by western devs (some with horrific grammar) im starting to avoid games whenever i see that its made outside of japan. So i want to ask first if this is another game that should have been a VN instead so i dont waste time

I've searched the whole castle, the menu, the walkthrough, this thread and on google. ( more than an hour now )
But all I find is mentions of this country overview map and what all it can do, but no one ever mentions where its supposed to be -_-

I feel like I'm missing something totally obvious...

I feel like I'm missing something totally obvious...

You can access the country overview map by using the "Fast Travel" system in the top of the menu, and then select the sparkling icon on the right side with the "Country Management" text above it.
You can also go to the menu -> Item -> Special -> and select the "Country Management Map" item to also go to the same map.
It's also possible to enter the country management map by talking with Sir Edward in your throne room, or the general/Lind in the bottom right side of the sleeping chambers.
The map is introduced in the main story after you report to Sir Edward that you defeated the ghost in the abandonen barracks where you meet Mira. It's the map where you repair those barracks, and construct other buildings.

And there is my problem, i haven't gone to the barracks yet.
I wanted to build the clinic first, and the quest log told me to do that via the country overview map...

I'll change the requirements before the quest for the clinic appears, so that it only becomes available after the player unlocked the country overview map. That should prevent such confusion for other people in the future.

Can't believe i delayed playing this game, I'm having a blast going through the quests and the country management stuff. Pretty sure I've sunk in 20 hours just taking my time and exploring. This is proper stuff Dev!

Update 25.06.24

I made a quick update to finally add the wedding of Trey, but also because a problem with Darude lead to some confusion in the main story line. To help newer players, I change the requirements for his event to appear.

Changes:
- New story with Lady Akira. The event starts when you talk with her in Witton after renting and visiting the private beach of the island Amaranthe, when you had the first dialog with Lady Akira before entering the room through the door from outside, and you need the events of Trey about his girlfriend from a few updates ago. (The previous event of Trey starts with a sparkling note in the center of the sleeping chambers after you used the Fast Travel system when Grey joined the femaled adventurers, Kayelinth is in your party, you solved the mystery of Fürstenstein, you found Hellhound in Old Ashton, and you had the portrait events with Scarlett.)
- Darude now appears in front of the castle in Aldlyn after you repaired the abandoned barracks where you meet Mira. If the vanguard system is unlocked, he'll tell you about his new trade system, else he'll ask for help with bandits and Trey will make a remark that you should go to the barracks to talk with Jessy. This change ensures that you can advance the main story without confusion, and also get an additional reminder to go to the barracks after repairing them.
- Fixed a bug that only the turn end button on the country overview map reduced the cooldown of Darudes trades, but not the turn end button on the special management screen where you pick delegates and other things.
- Fixed a bug which caused you to lose vanguard equipment components after the vanguard battle of the trade routes instead of gaining them.
- The quest "Clinic Request" now appears on the Aldlyn city board after you repaired the abandoned barracks on the country overview map. This ensures that people know about the country management map and can enter it before getting the quest to construct something on it.
- Fixed a bug with Ziki's wedding event which didn't properly turn off after the first time watching it.
- Scarlett received her full body CG image! The image was added for her skilltree, face images, is shown when you talk with her in her house in Aldlyn, and can be seen in the CG room after you had the events about getting a portrait for Ryen from Scarlett.
- The Poison and Burning status effects are now removed from the party when you enter a vanguard battle.
