If you think you deserve to be telling the dev how to make his game why don't you atleast support him on Patreon?
He got 1 Patreon and you're basically complaining that the game is not more like a tripple A Steam game, give me a brake!

sad to see this game abandoned, it was original compared to games here in this site, and in VN in general, it even had some borderlands feel to it, but i cant pinpoint it exactly. hoping for a remake sometime down the line!

hmmm considering what little ive seen of dev's improved daz skills. im curious about the next project. also hoping this one gets remastered with those touched up renders. if they were of the same quality as the ones in the hidden gallery that would be nice.

I have played every series except for the Fallout 1,2,76.....but you're right, as I mostly did not write in the perceptive of the overpowered and unlimited save/load capability....like the FALLOUT protagonist.

Because I'm trying to imagine what life has been in the reality/real life version of Fallout.....and I been thinking deeper than that.

Looking at my comment in retrospect I might've unjustly flew into you with both legs, but at that point, given my love for Fallout games, your comment just geared me up. Sorry for that, but I still stand by that many things you described in that comment doesn't stay true for the series.
I strongly suggest for you to play Fallout 1 and 2, 76 not so much. Yes, they are old games, turn based, lot of text and little voice over, old graphics, which can be patched, and often buggy, but if you liked New Vegas, you're going to love 1 and especially 2, because of the great story, world built up, and the possibilities you have as far how to play. NV was somewhat close to the playstyle and the rich amount of choices to that, but Bethesda could never even scratch it.

It's also impossible of staying in the same color, sometimes you do what you must do to survive, or that the others will decide your fates for you.

And for sure some rich and powerful does not need these requirements that I listed to survived, but from the POV of none-influential nor powerful average people's living in the world of Fallout? heck yea but nonetheless it's much more complex or take more than that to survive....I'm not talking about mainly foods here, but of humans greed and lust etc...

Also different bloodlines, different lifestyle. Some just better than others, but are not invisible in a dangerous world like these.

See this is something I don't agree with. Beside from the main character, there were many honest living folks in the game. While some could or was exploited because of that, many weren't. Of course because of the nature of media, it being a game, the main character could affect that, but overall, they got to build and live their lives however they wanted. There were those who choose to be a raider or gangster, but there were many that not. Life was harsher the closer the era was to the war, but by 2200, vibrant life did came back to the wastes, at least in the Core Region, and given the right place, while it wasn't always easy or completely comfortable, you could live your life without much trouble if you wished so. Yes, class differences existed, even slavery, but given the determination you could pull through without often changing your stance.

It's true that occupation didn't affected character building in the game, that's only because stats and story stayed the same...no matter what the jobs is. Now that a flaws isn't it? but whatever, tis not essential anyway.

It didn't affect because you basically had a fresh start at the beginning of the game, regardless of your past circumstances. Even if there were references to your past or some events that came back in one way or another. This could be said about this VN as well in my opinion.

Although the war happened in 2077, but some stuff got left behind and some are more advance than our reality world (real life). That is true for the Fallout inhabitants, as their radios/music/songs are from 1940s-1960s...wouldn't be better to be similar?

Yeah, I concede on the music thing. It would've been better, although since it's the 40's-50's era, things like Rock and Roll and different music genres already existed. It's just something that the Black Isle guys choose for the main music themes at the beginning, you should look up the Fallout 2 intro, it's wonderful, but the in-game scores weren't similar for them. This was something that Bethesda began with the radios in the games, and even NV used it. Although NV had scores from the original games at certain places.

The main thing I'm so called criticism about is the choices, plot and characters, which handled out rather unimpressive (even if we counted out FALLOUT and looked purely or solely in this game)

You and I have different mindset for a nuked world, but I read your comment thoroughly and respect that. I admit that your knowledge on the game was detail and impressive.

Now this is something I can agree with you more. Yes, the game was nowhere near perfect as a VN, honestly I even have an axe to pick with the very close Kellog like storyline, but it was different enough for me to be interested in it. The game could've been much better as a whole, and if it weren't a Fallout themed game, I'd probably would've liked less the it generally. Despite that I won't say it's a great AVN, but it wasn't that bad, at least it managed to make me not drop and kinda be sad that it is abandoned.

You see...you agreed with me even though you weren't. How many people's would have that determination to live the way they wanted? Most would have kiss some powerful groups ASS for an easy way out(One of the way). Or If not, you probably never heard their names as they are buried deep down to their graves.

You seems not getting my point of protagonist save/load exploitation and overpowered ability, so without these... Your POV of a FALLOUT world will changed, by remember how many battle you're encountered and how many times you died? Even a vibrant city like NEW VEGAS is fill with coup and dangers, then thinks from a normal person's living the world of Fallout.

There's always exception like Piper, whom survived multiple assassination attempt and still working her dream job or born or raise in Goodsprings with bunch of honest folks....but thinks that from a reality POV for a minutes...How long would that peace lasts??? to what ends??? Like how Goodsprings are surrounded by Powder Gangers and Piper is pulling the tail of a lion.

You can't live your life without trouble, because trouble is your unavoidable friends. You gotta agreed with me one things that the stability of Fallout is quite bad, many unexpected factors may ruin your life for an instances. Maybe some legendary cockroach attacked you in your slumber, or perhaps some weird sunglasses dude triggered that nuke when living in Megaton etc....or some robber followed you in the dark alley and backstabbed you.

There are just many more character's died that we've never heard of (given the logic of Fallout)...but all you saw is the bright side of things.

Yeah...Fallout Vegas is my favorite game back in the day (better than Fallout 3,4). Because the political climate of Faction were great...but too bad the project was rushed like something feel off with the Caesar's Legion and powder Gangers etc..(are being under developed).

I agreed on the VN design could've been better, and on the music that could somewhat more fitting though not entirely, but not the viewpoint you have on how life should look like in Fallout.

When you'll play the first two games, you'll see that there are many characters that even living within shitty circumstances, won't get bend. You'll be able to change that given the impact the MC has on the world overall, but otherwise there are good honest folk living their life in that way. Even in NV there were peeps like that, the Boomers who created a life for themselves and don't get intervined until the Courier appears, in Novac, aside from the hotel owner they were non-comprising the ones that lived there, Michael Angelo who just went through his life by creating art, etc.

I thought about making my own VN before, but when I started to dabble around Daz, I realized that I don't have the patience for it. I only see myself as a writer if it ever comes to that. I'd actually leave the whole East coast behind in a Fallout story though, it would take place in the Core Region, much like the originals, if I ever made one.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood this message but, do you think I discontinued "Repercussions" because I didn't have enough patrons? That is completely untrue, I discontinued it because I was unhappy with the quality of how the stills looked, I didn't like posing in the Fallout 4 engine because of how limiting it really is.

There's more reasons but plainly speaking I just didn't have fun posing in the Fallout engine anymore. I have a lot more fun posing and coming up with, what I consider, better-looking characters in Daz. Would you have preferred me working on a project I didn't have fun making? It would show, you'd see less effort, less love put into it. Again I could've completely misinterpreted the message, but that's what I got from it, and I guess it kinda irked me a bit lol. That is completely untrue, I discontinued it because I was unhappy with the quality of how the stills looked, I didn't like posing in the Fallout 4 engine because of how limiting it really is.

Edit: so after playing the Demo im mostly ok with Everything so far.

Visuals are great story telling is good and even some Humor there.

Naming Red "Red" was funny considering she barely had any Red at all.

the only thing im slightly concerned about is the future Sex scenes. mostly cause i have no idea how i'll respond to all that Prosthetic limbs stuff. the andoids for their part look good. i recently played another game that was sci-fi and the android looked to much like a robot for me to be able to enjoy the sex scene in that game.

but here in this game i have no idea how it'll go for me.

I guess the only thing left to ask is what tags you intend to add in the future. and if some of more the extreme ones will be avoidable?

But yeah all in all good Demo. also is Repercussions really abandoned or any plans to remaster it later?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! As for the prosthetics and stuff like that, I'm primarily making humans the central "sex" focus. There will be android sex for sure, they will look more human than robotic tho. Think like modern sex dolls, sort of like that lol. If there are enough people asking for more extreme stuff, even for me, I will make them avoidable. I mean come on, I wouldn't let anyone with a prosthetic touch me in my privates LOL, would you?

Any time a story is set in an existing universe, you run the risk of having fanboys come out and tell you everything little thing that you are doing wrong "vis a vis the established canon of said universe"

Keep the post-apocalyptic setting but make it your own so you can just tell your story.

Hey, no shame in being an android gamer lol, it's practical right? I can't really ascertain issues with android so if I were to get any bugs/issues there, I honestly wouldn't know how to fix them on there.
