I can agree with that, it's more reasonable. Personally the only characters I didn't know at all were the ShackBang crew, I'll try that game.
I didn't try Inside Jennifer too but I always planned to play that one, as it seems to fit my taste.

I would say that yes, you could get away without playing the other games...
But playing the other games will make this one much better.
Not only because you'll know and have feelings for the characters, which will lead to a more pleasurable NTR experience...
But also because this game continues those stories.
As I've said before, this game isn't in the universe of those games...
But those games technically ARE in the universe of this game.
Sure, you can play this without playing the others, and I can see how Lust Theory is especially hard to play since it's so big...
But I'd especially recommend playing ShackBang, Passion on Display (which are much much shorter) and both Summer with Mia and Returning to Mia, which will make the stories involving those characters much more rewarding.
Limits of Sky was cancelled early, but I'll be continuing it from the exact part where it ended when it was cancelled, so you can easily play that in a day to have a better connection with Sky, Casey and Lera.
Inside Jennifer is a bit bigger though, and less important to RoT, so I wouldn't recommend it as much, but even then... Your experience will be better if you play it.
I have seen that people who played both RtM and LT loved seeing the characters interact:
-Discovering the relationship between Amy and Cindy,
-Seeing a continuation of past cameos, like Jessica and Megan, who briefly met the RtM-MC in RtM,
-Seeing Nicole meet Jennifer (since they're both the best teachers from Inceton).
And this will also be a thing when you see:

If you were to tell me that this "game" was made by one guy/gal, I would understand the horrible dialogue, lack of interactivity, the overcomplicated initial presentation (naming and whatnot), and the stupid scenarios (someone in a gloryhole just wanna shag your girl, he speaks in loud and clear voice with you, but his PhD girlfriend wouldn't had figured that her boyfriend it's not alone on the other stand?), then I'd say yes, this is a fine "game", but someone in this thread mentioned that there is a TEAM of at least 20 people behind this, so, I'm sorry, but this is inexcusable, I bet ANYONE in this thread would be capable to write a better scenario for Jennifer other than the obvious I GONNA SUCK OFF THE MARRIED PRINCIPAL AND GET THE JOB - and by the way, that's just a cutscene that you WATCH it, because the extraordinaire 20 people behind this award-worthy scenario couldn't come up with INTERACTIVITY or an option to find another route (I don't care about NTR by the way, and that was a possibility for the other MCs), there is a big difference between watching an cutscene and playing an game, I believe most people like to PLAY a game, NTR it's not an whore excuse you throw around to hide poor creativity.
To say I didn't say a good thing about the "game", the models are pretty good and the intrigue of what's to come piques your interest that's why I check what this team does, but the constant things again and again in every game really lower your expectations because there is room for improvement, but it never comes to fruition.

guys ive played through the gloryhole scene but its still not available in replay gallery, is there a choice i have to make or just a glitch?

i just downloaded "the game" with gofile i get only a single file not a map with the .exe in it how???
This might be a little controversial but ShackBang caracters are my favorite and they didnt have much scenes especially Lydia so im hoping for more scenes of them

With Gofile, you're supposed to download this file:
Then rename it adding a trailing .zip in order to Windows recognize it as a zip archive.
After the rename you file name should be
Resort_Of_Temptation-WIN-v0.0.5a.zip
When you unzip it you have the usual typical Ren'Py folder:

Because ShackBang only has 4 girls, the 5 characters will have a room just for themselves, with one bed for SB-MC, Ariana and Maxine, and a second bed for Lexi and Lydia.
We should see 1 scene with Maxine early on in Episode 2.
Lydia should get a scene in Episode 3 (probably not alone).
After Episode 3 (at the Resort), we should get a lot of content for all of them.
I also disliked how ShackBang barely explored the sexual possibilities of being alone with 4 hot girls in the woods.
So be prepared for multiple threesomes and (if you play your cards right [or too wrong]) a fivesome.
