It seems like AI was used for the animation in this update.
The characters’ faces look distorted — especially noticeable in Ellie’s scenes.
Using AI for animation still doesn’t seem like a good idea at this point.

I just loaded the game up again and fast-forwarded to Ellie’s scene in the Halloween event.
I get what you mean, something seems off about Ellie’s face during the animation.
AI continues to have problems with faces, as seen in the many fan art threads on this site.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that AI wasn’t used at all.

If AI was used, I would hope for a bit more diverse scene. With AI it shouldn't be too hard to have not every girl being fucked in the exact same position. That being said, I do like the update. I thinks its great. It more of the stuff I enjoy in a game.
