Take your time, was just throwing some ideas out there and letting you know about a possible bug, though you're most likely right that it was something on my end
Good afternoon. You are on to something. As I was finished porting everything over to the new core, to the point I even compiled it all for distribution I tossed a fresh install of both the VN and today's updated SanchoMod....and found that bug, kind of.
It occurs when the player opens the MiniMenu, does anything or nothing (simply open/close has same effect), then utilizes the rollback feature... it disappears. This behavior has never been an issue before so I went through every other VN I mod and that behavior does NOT exist at all on any of them... just this VN. I won't lie, I'm having one helluva time isolating the issue as it seems to be related to the overlay screens the dev is using for the "Slut Button" function.
I won't push out today's update until I resolve this of course but wanted you to know that you aren't going crazy or seeing things. This particular dev is quite known for buggy code and missing images, I just have to find that needle in a haystack an fix another one of their issues. I'll keep you updated on progress. Apologies and regards.
Edit: Holy shit... sometimes you can rollback and it ends up at the main menu screen (while the game is still loaded in the background). This might be a mess, give me some time to sort it out. The dev's code is doing something very wrong somewhere with functions and/or screen tagging but I'll find it.
Edit 2: Until I either patch the dev's code or they update the RenPy,
throw the attached inside either the "game" folder or the "SanchoMod" folder under that. This won't correct the issue but whenever you notice the MiniMenu disappearing after rollback (this occurs with any screen currently in the layer I'm using whether it's my code or OEM) simply press the
.
key (period key), and that will refresh the layer. This way you won't have to reload previous saves for a screen layer refresh.
Edit to this edit: This Sancho feature is now integrated into the mod, no need to install a separate file.
