Works perfectly for me, make sure to put the patch content under the "game" folder.
I've tried it without putting any translation and it still doesn't work, it's weird I've used "scrappy" mods in a lot of games.

Compression algorithm for images these days are so good that you will have a hard time telling its been compressed.
you need to sit and study the images with a monocular to spot the difference.
There is no reason to not use compression. this is just lazy of the dev or he know jack about image compression.
Thank god we have people on this site fixing the lazyness of the devs.

It doesn't happen, or better, we don't see it, but is heavily implied regarding Isabel (when we find her naked, beaten and covered in blood in her bathroom), and MC's mom (when he sees a picture with her in chains and a group of men having "fun" with her).
