Since the back button in this game engine works on state it simply changes back to the state before you chose an option, meaning the variables are also reset to the value they had before you did that. There's rarely if ever any issues with variables getting messed up by anything that wouldn't risk messing them up even without the back button.
So to be generous the developer may be inexperienced enough to have made some wild guesses and never looked into it. Or judging by their previous statements and behavior we can guess that maybe they removed it because they don't want people to be able to undo choices too easily, or perhaps at best that their anti-cheating implementation and ridiculous added DRM and encryption layer is so invasive and shitty that in addition to the many other bugs it introduces it also makes the back button unusable.
Either way it's not a technical issue that prevents it, it's either lack of skill or lack of will.

New Update my Sweeties! 
This update is focused on improving and expanding Elin, Juliet, and Marie's content. With the last revamp of the game, there were lots of scenes that I didn't really have time to add images for, so I plan to add the missing images to those scenes over time. This is one of those updates, meant to fill in the gaps left from the image overhaul.
Along with all the new images, there are many improvements, rewrites, and new content for Elin. As I go through my old content to add new images, I always take some time to rewrite anything I feel can be improved. The new rewrites are very obvious in the Marie Bluebell story, as it was in dire need of spelling corrections, and rewrites to make the scenes play out smoother.
There are also many bugs left behind in the previous version that should all be fixed now, including many of the images that just stopped working due to Discord no longer allowing image hosting, so I've now switched to Imgur. Some of the bugs even blocked off entire paths, like the Joker Recruit outcome for the Dark Child path. These bugs have been corrected, allowing the content to be accessible once again.
There is even some new chat for Maire, where you can discuss her future plans with her, and maybe help her achieve her goals, unlocking a whole new path for the both of you to remain together after the prologue. Elin has some new scenes as well, along with the introduction to her future follower path on day 2.
Here is a full list of all the things that I can remember adding/fixing:
- Updated most of Elin, Juliet, and Marie's content, adding more content, along with rewrites to their content.
- New Elin content added to the first 2 days, along with the introduction to a new follower path to be added during my planned follower system rework.
- Many new images added to Elin, Juliet, and Marie's content, including new Hallie images for Marie's prank event.
- Huge rewrites for Marie's Bluebell date, improving text, and setting up an alternate ending, for the future Dark Child Update.
- Added new locational images for Elin, Maire, and the player, to help increase immersion.
- New Outfit System added for Elin, Juliet, and Marie which should make it easier to alter their outfits. This addition should make it easier to control their outfits, and make it possible to add alternate outfits for them in the future.
- Implemented new vampire, and slut fame systems, monitoring the player's public activities. Now whenever you get caught using your vampiric/dark powers, or sexual activities in public, others may spread rumors, which may come back to haunt you later.
- Fixed a bug for the Dark Child path, ignoring your choice to sleep with the Joker recruits, blocking the entire Dark Child Joker outcome.
- Fixed Lucien's Black Lily outfit throwing up an error when chosen from his wardrobe.
- Fixed Chloe's dialogue being completely broken during day 3.
- The Cherlese Blacksmith's chat will now only display the option you chose, instead of both outcomes, when asked if you would like to date his son.
- Choosing Vampiric Strength on Gil while working as a waitress, will no longer bring you to the submissive scene instead.
- Hopefully fixed the broken images in the Developer Bio section, and for the Latex Dress. (Works for me, but another player has reported a different result)
- Fixed a bunch of other bugs, along with many spell corrections.

I thought this game was abandoned for a long time, figured the creator like many others had just taken the money and ran. i am very happy to have found out that i was wrong, but very unhappy to hear you were in a coma. really do hope things get better for you. and thank u for not giving up on this game, absolutely loved playing through it. going to check out the new stuff tonight

The only Femdom content currently in the game, is from the Bryce romance which is tied to the Caring Path.
Why was all the actual content removed? Now it's just a few cringe AI pictures here and there. No real stuff and no videos just walls of text
I must admit that while I appreciate the hard work that went into replacing images with AI for consistency and immersion, it's completely killed the appeal of the game for me. Gifs were a huge part of immersion for me (and are for any of these games), and now with just still images and text, it's just not as enjoyable. I'm also just not a fan of AI art.
I wish there was a toggle for folks who'd like one or the other. Or at least combining the use of AI art for character portraits, and gifs for sex scenes.
All of that said, best of luck with the game. It's a great project you've created and I'll keep an eye on it going forward just on the off chance my prayers are someday answered

Hello, I'm trying the game because of the gay label...... something I doubt a little about because the protagonist is a woman, well I guess it's because she sees other men having relationships or it's because she can become a man. I have doubts about the many different paths there are, but the main one is that I can only fall in love with one person?
For me it's actually the opposite. I'd rather have some dedicated art and not just more or less random porn gifs that I can get on a number of websites anyway.I must admit that while I appreciate the hard work that went into replacing images with AI for consistency and immersion, it's completely killed the appeal of the game for me.
